Hold Fast Kitchen and Spirits

Stopped here before going to a show for a bite to eat. A recommendation from a friend who knows the owners. I enjoyed The Oakey Smokey old-fashioned and my wife had the Lets have a Kiki. The West side chicken sandwich and added cheese and bacon, it was excellent. It came with the pickle spear that I could tell was homemade. My wife had.the IT'S COBB-ALICIOUS.

Wonderful little bar in Restaurant Row on 46th in NYC. First time here. Enjoyed the Deviled Egg appetizer, Chicken and Rice Soup, and the Fish and Chips. Everything was absolutely delicious. No complaints whatsoever. Excellent service.

Food was ok, Mac and cheese was little flavorless and dry, shrimp 🦐 was so good with the bread ! And drinks was good too! Service was little slow but that’s okay!

My friend and I really enjoyed our experience at Hold Fast a couple of days ago. We share a very yummy Truffle Mac n Cheese appetizer and both thought the Fish and Chips were delicious! The drinks were good and Phoebe was friendly and very competent! Will go again.

Great prices and the foods good too, love the chili and the cocktails.

The food and drinks are amazing! Came here and sat at the bar for a while. We got the crinkle fries, chicken bites, dark and stormy, and the endless summer drinks! Everything was stellar. Can’t wait to come back soon.

This place is an NYC gem. The owner was working behind the bar and serving tables. What a cool guy who clearly knows how to do food and drinks right. And unlike every restaurant in the city now playing their music at club levels they had it just right. Great vibe, great music and is on our list of regular spots to go.

My husband and I went this Hold Fast on a Sunday night following the NYC Half marathon. We booked a reservation earlier in the day to be sure we could get in and I’m glad we did. It was pretty full by the time we left. We started with the deviled eggs…delicious and beautiful! We saw tons of people ordering these, so it’s certainly not a secret how good they are. Then we ordered two tacos - fish and steak. Both very good. The steak taco came with their in-house guacamole, which was amazing! We also really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and beets. Yum! Our waiter was fantastic. The vibe was chill and the music selection was great - Interpol, Smashing Pumpkins, Florence and the Machine, etc. Definitely check this place out. There are a ton of options on this block, but you won’t be disappointed with this spot.
