We had a fantastic dining experience at Hawksmoor. We came to celebrate a birthday. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We got the porterhouse and the ribeye. Perfectly cooked steak, with a great char on the outside and I mean flavorful sides, some might say it's alittle salty. That's what drinks are for. The interior is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant's vaulted ceilings and grand historic architecture create a unique atmosphere that feels both elegant and welcoming. The service was equally impressive. Valentina was warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Well worth a visit if you are looking for great NYC steakhouse experience.

Our friends from VA invited us out to dinner with their family and we are thankful because i have never heard of this place before. The atmosphere, staff (shoutout to our server Adam) he was truly exceptional, food and drinks were all excellent. We ordered so many things The Filet 10/10 Ribeye 10/10 Fries 9/10 Creole Louisiana shrimp 9/10 Mashed potatoes 9/10 Macaroni and cheese 10/10 Rockefeller oysters (I’m not a oyster person but the table really liked them) 10/10 Creamed spinach 10/10 Cesar salad 8/10 (I’m not a fan of restaurants just putting a leaf on a plate and making you do the work to cut it up) Drinks were curated really well too! Can’t wait to come back!

The best in NYC! We celebrated my partner’s and sister’s birthdays at Hawksmoor NYC, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The cocktails were exceptional, the food was outstanding, and the service and atmosphere were second to none. Every visit feels special, and it has become a must-visit spot whenever we’re in New York visiting family. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was impeccable. Our server, Thomas, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He took the time to explain the menu, the different cuts of meat on offer,and provide suggestions for us to consider. Also, at one point, my fiance stained his white shirt and a female server appeared out of nowhere to offer him club soda. Every member of the staff was so helpful and friendly. The food is some of the best we've ever had. We started with the fried shrimp appetizer, which was cooked perfectly, so airy, and not greasy at all. Our entrees consisted of the surf and turf for me, and the veal chop with fried oysters for my fiance. My filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and lobster were cooked so perfectly I could have cut them with a spoon. The veal chop was incredibly thick but so tender, the fried oysters were succulent but not greasy, and the sauces complimented each other perfectly. Our sides were the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. This was hands down the best creamed spinach I've ever had, and the potatoes were hearty and thick without being pasty. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding, and my fiance had the blueberry basil cheesecake. If I could have taken a bath in my dessert I would have, and my fiance devoured his cheesecake like it was his last meal. Overall, we ate like we have never eaten in polite society before, and we absolutely cannot wait to go back!

Finally made it to Hawksmoor after having it on my list for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The highlight of the meal was the rib-eye, which was outstanding. As someone who loves cooking with charcoal, I really appreciated the flavor and crust that their cooking method brings to the meat. It added a depth and character that you don’t find at many steakhouses. We also had the porterhouse, which was excellent and came with bone marrow, a great touch that added even more flavor to an already impressive steak. The service was attentive throughout the evening without ever feeling intrusive. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped make the experience feel special. The venue itself is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere that strikes a nice balance between upscale and comfortable. They also have an excellent wine selection with plenty of options to pair with the food. Overall, a fantastic dining experience and a steakhouse I would gladly return to. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great beef, charcoal cooking, and professional hospitality.

I came to use the $150.00 credit from my Chase Sapphire Reserve card benefit through OpenTable Sad to have to give a review like this. Atmosphere was wonderful, bar area looks beautiful and staff were very friendly. Hosts, need to be on it more. They sent me to a table by the bar without telling me it was where you wait for a server to come grab you for the reservation. I thought it was my reservation table, until a guy passing out water told me. Service: there are 11,000( exaggeration lol) people shuffling back and forth, it’s hard to tell who’s your server as my server left or went on break and nobody did a hand-off, I wasn’t attended to for over 20 minutes. At this price point I don’t expect this at all, Chili’s and Applebees servers tell you when someone else is taking over. Food: really was underwhelming. I was so excited about the scotch bonnet oysters and the grilled 1/2 lobster. Both orders of oysters taste the same. (Classic & scotch bonnet) I got no heat from the scotch bonnet as I was expecting. The mash potatoes w/ gravy had very little flavor. My 10oz sirloin was super fatty. The 1/2 lobster came with a green sauce that was delicious. I however wasn’t expecting it to be $70 (no price is listed on menu, I was expecting maybe $50-$55 for 1.25lbs) I don’t think this dinner was worth $250.00… at all.

We celebrated our anniversary at Hawksmoor NYC, and it was flawless. The scallops were perfectly seared and sweet, and the steak was incredible—juicy, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a spectacular crust. What made the night truly special was our waitress, Taylor. She was attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to make our celebration feel important. Outstanding food, gorgeous atmosphere, and top-tier service. We’ll absolutely be back!
