Stopped in while walking Tribeca and the waterfront, and was pleased to find a pub with cold beer, good wings (real chicken, even though we did boneless), and positive energy. Recommend for a fun afternoon of drinks with friends.

I know this is a really hyped bar, but I’d avoid it if you’re trying to watch a basketball game and don’t want any unexpected charges. We were never informed of a $75 person minimum, yet were charged extra at the end without any warning. My card was also charged without giving me a chance to review the bill first, even though I had been told it wouldn’t necessary be used for payment. Management was also rude when I tried to clarify the situation. Be careful
Unfortunately, our group had a deeply upsetting experience here. Two of my friends were loudly verbally harassed by another patron using a homophobic slur (that I haven't heard in years, let alone in nyc...) and making a threatening gesture. It was unacceptable, frightening, and immediately made us feel unsafe. When we reported it to the bouncer (Mike) & the owner on duty (Chris), we were told it would be “taken care of,” but the individual remained in the bar for at least 15 more minutes standing & walking next to our group multiple times. We ultimately chose to leave because we didn’t feel safe. The bar's response felt dismissive and placating, with more concern shown for a potential negative Google review than about the seriousness of the incident. A couple days later, I had an email exchange with the other owner (Joe) as he was not at the bar when I tried to speak to him in person. While it took a a couple exchanges for the situation to be taken seriously, I do appreciate that he responded, apologized, and refunded our $115 bar tab. Still, how situations like this are handled in the moment matters. I’ve also noticed that negative reviews here are often met with minimizing or gaslighting responses, which I expect and feel only reinforces our experience. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return. Ending on a positive note: the bartenders were wonderful.
This place is perfect - low key, the staff is amazingly nice and friendly, and just the right level of cozy. My daughter's 24th birthday was here and we had dozens of individual tabs going, lots of people drinking and eating, and Marsha our server, her boss/the manager who's name I can't recall, and the guy who worked the door--all of them were so cool, friendly, helpful and fun. It made it a perfect afternoon in the perfect place.
Came here for the Knicks game 5, everyone was cleared out at 6 pm for a turnover. We were told to line up and were about 20th in line, but 2 hours later, they were somehow at capacity even though the line didn’t move. I have never felt such elitism from a pub in my whole life and after this experience I will never go back. I am so annoyed and disgusted with the atmosphere that the crew created for us New Yorkers who just wanted to celebrate something wholesome together.
We had an outdoor table. We really like the mood. Burguer was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Vegetables a little bit roaring
Arrived at 6 PM to watch the Knicks game and were told to wait in line while they did a turnover. No problem - except the line didn't move for almost two hours, and nobody from the venue gave a single update the entire time. As we stood there, it became pretty obvious that people were being let in based on who was getting attention from the bouncer and (I assume) the owner, with the explanation always being that they had “reservations”. Maybe some did, but definitely not all of them. Everyone in line could see what was going on. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of communication. Really disappointing experience and a terrible way to treat customers. I definitely won't be back, and judging by the mood of the crowd that night, I doubt many others will either.
Nice casual vibe.. I really would have liked this bar but I was horrified by the homophobic bartender. I was in on Saturday night and the girl in the hat with long brown hair was making disgusting comments about lesbian couples to guests sitting at the bar. Very disappointing and disturbing to hear, and in NYC of all places?? I never leave reviews but the comments I heard were just vulgar and I’m still thinking about it 4 days later. Then I come to see the reviews and see other people have had experience with staff making homophobic remarks. Really upsetting
