Dickson’s Farmstand Meats is one of the highlights of Chelsea Market, and the dry-aged sliders alone are worth the visit. Made with richly flavored dry-aged beef, they’re juicy, perfectly seasoned, and simply topped with melted cheese and pickles, allowing the quality of the meat to take center stage. The soft potato bun ties everything together beautifully. The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw is equally impressive—tender, smoky, and deeply satisfying. If you’re exploring Chelsea Market, this is one stop you shouldn’t miss. It offers some of the best quick bites in the market and is a must for anyone who appreciates excellent meat.

A $7 plain hot dog. The roll was not warm so the two didn't taste as good as it could have been. I smeared mustard from a packet on it. Another customer also had a hotdog but his was topped with the works which made me wish that I should have also had it but it would have cost far more than $7. Considering that hot dog carts often charge between $4 to $5 depending on the neighborhood I shouldn't complain about what I had paid.
Chelsea Market is a busy place with plenty of dining options. Dicksons is worth stopping by if you wanted some meat or a hot dog. I tried a regular size hotdog. Larger than the bun which is good, hot dog had that nice snap when you bit into it. Good flavor to it, not to salty, but just right. Texture was a good quality. It didn't have that processed taste or texture. I requested onions and kraut on the side. To each their own on the condiments, but give it a go. I would go back, but probably explore other items on the menu also.
I've never been to Chelsea Market before, but I love craft foods and was excited to stumble upon Dickson's. I was starving, but needed to grab gifts to bring back home to my family. I was excited to see the assortment of refrigerated and frozen items, as well as the deli case. I purchased a bag of jerky for my husband. Then I walked the entire Chelsea Market again, looking for lunch options for myself. I ended up coming back to Dickson's, and spent a good 5 minutes browsing the menu, trying to nail down my options. I ended up getting a chili dog, broccoli and arugula salad and OMG they were all absolutely scrumptious. I could hear myself saying "mmm" and "wow" with almost every bite. I hope I can purchase some of the frozen items online and get them shipped to Baltimore. I will 100% come back when I'm in NYC!
Five stars without hesitation. I had a hamburger with fries at Dickson’s in Chelsea Market and it was exactly what you want after walking around NYC: juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the fries were crispy and satisfying. Simple food done really well, great quality ingredients, and a relaxed vibe. I would definitely go back.
Dickson's Farmstand was delicious. The steakhouse burger with fries was so simple but the flavors were anything but. The chicken sliders had a little kick to them but tasty as well. The prosciutto charcuterie board was just that. I would have loved to have cheese or maybe even a jam to accompany it. This is a very popular spot for lunch but I didn't have trouble finding seating.
dickson’s has my undying loyalty 4 life. beyond serving the best pulled pork sandwich i’ve had in downtown manhattan, they treat you RIGHT. my order accidentally arrived without bbq sauce and they hired a courier on their own dime to get me that sauce (which was delicious). i’d had a horrible day beforehand and that act of kindness meant a lot. it tracks - good people make great food!
Dickson’s Farmstand Meats in Chelsea Market really impressed. 🍔 The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and just downright delicious. Easily worth the stop. We even managed to find a seat, which felt like a win in the middle of the market chaos.
