American Whiskey - Midtown

Went to this location for dinner/drinks before a game at MSG and what a great spot! We had the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Hot Chicken Sliders. Both were sooooo good and the food came out quick! Loved all the NY Whiskey options. Our server, Ava, was truly the best! She was so accommodating, friendly and sweet. We even came back to this spot after our game and she remembered us. This will definitely be a go-to spot now. Can't recommend enough!

Wonderful experience watching games here. Drinks were strong, bathrooms clean, food was tasty. Staff were professional, attentive and hospitable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just try to plan ahead and make reservations for big games because line gets real and it isn’t fun in extreme weather. The owner is really kind and personable/ approachable. Walking distance from MSG & just a fun atmosphere overall

I love this place! Reserved a table for a Knicks playoff watch party, my friends and I had the best time. Food was amazing, especially the wings and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This place is a “go to” spot for Knicks watch parties. Only problem is, they’re severely understaffed during these events..at least, that’s what they told me. I’ve had multiple occasions where I went there to watch a Knicks game during the playoffs and the place would be PACKED with only 2 bartenders to serve everyone. The people sitting at the bar the whole time get top tier service. Drinks topped off, service on demand when they raise their hand…everyone else behind them? Good luck. I’ve waited over 20 minutes to get a drink and had people reaching over me to give their cards out in hopes the bartender even glances their direction. It’s a chaotic and terrible experience. The last time I went was the icing on the cake for me. There were “workers” that weren’t the bartenders going behind the bar, grabbing drinks and serving certain groups that they seemed to have known personally. All while letting these 2 understaffed bartenders handle a crowd of thirsty customers that couldn’t even get their attention most of the time. Save your time and money and avoid this place during these events til they sort out proper management of their business. Couldn’t even rate the food because I was never able to get an order in. Decent midtown bar near MSG. Been here a few times for pregame gatherings. They have a decent happy hour and good food options, personally I love their old fashioned and their Happy Hour hot chicken slider. There's lots of space and it's multi level- really good for groups. There are also multiple tvs to watch the game if you aren't heading into MSG.

Came here with friends and tried the duck nachos which was different from my norm but I enjoyed it. The smoked wings in chili sauce would be my first recommendation with sweet potato fries and honey mustard sauce. The staff is friendly. The music was good. We had a great time. I would come again and highly recommend especially on a game night.

My girls there always hook it up and super kind. Truly a safe place and the drinks are out of this world. Get the sumer dad bod it's the best and also the guacamole is truly fantastic

Had been before for an event, was very loud and crowded. Came again accidentally during another World Cup celebration watch game. But the bartenders were the absolutely kindest, the drinks good price, the space huge. Appreciate this spot!
