Valentines dinner had many hits! The oysters were amazing, had a nice salty buttery taste. The scallops were delicious with a tasty puree. Definitely the highlight of the courses. Tartare was a treat but the toasted bread was the star. Like was that brioche or what ?!! Last but not least the cake. Omg it was so rich, decedent and sweet. Best cake I’ve had a restaurant. My entree was the short beef rib. It was so tender. Omg ! The glazed carrots were perfect. This restaurant is a lovely vibe. The enclosed space is cool, although it’s basically outside. It was so warm and comforting, even with other guests coming and going. There was no wait for our reservation. Our appetizers came out within minutes of placing our orders. The entrees did take a while, seemed like some confusion coming from the kitchen. When the entrees came they were hot & tasty. Our server was full of personality, charming and friendly. Overall it was a lovely dinner.

I took my girlfriend here for here birthday. It’s a place that she’s walked by many times and always wanted to try, and it did not disappoint. The food tasted homemade. Balanced flavors combined with modern takes on traditional dishes. Gelato was the best we’ve ever had.

We stopped in at Alice, having already dined elsewhere. We had some time to kill and the waiter Nick suggested we simply have some tea. He was extremely gracious, and the ambience was inviting, so we stayed for a delightful 30 minutes. It seems to be a lovely place with an interesting menu, and we plan to come back for dinner soon!

I love this restaurant in general, but I had an especially great experience during my visit this past Sunday for my birthday. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated and had a great time. Our server, Lexi, was extremely attentive, sweet, and very professional. Her recommendations were absolutely spot on, 10/10. Later in our visit, Faheem, who had just started his shift after we were seated, also stopped by our table to greet us and took the time to personally wish me a happy birthday, which really made the experience stand out. Overall, the service and attention to detail made my birthday meal truly memorable at Alice.

Honestly, Alice is such a gem. The brownstone vibe is so cool and cozy. The seafood pasta was unreal and the service was super warm. Definitely our new favorite spot, will absolutely be back. Branzino for the win

My favourite design from our trip. I love this style of restaurant … very talked about but kind of hidden. The owners were very accommodating of our reservation request when they found out we were also restaurateurs on an nyc trip even though it was short notice. Being Italian it’s always a more authentic experience to be speaking Italian with the very charming and gracious owners who came to our table and spent quite a bit of time conversing with us in Italian and explaining their journey in nyc and practically every ingredient of every dish. A very special experience. I would give this place 15 stars for atmosphere if the option was available. Loved everything but the atmosphere is just amazing. Auguri 🥂

From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us warmly and seated us right away, setting the tone for a wonderful night. The service was exceptional — Xaviera made the experience unforgettable, describing each dish with passion and care. The Bucatini al Limone was creamy, citrusy, and perfectly salted; the grilled octopus was tender and full of flavor; and the burrata with heirloom tomatoes was a refreshing start. It’s clear that Alice prides itself on excellent customer service — the laid-back, welcoming vibe and friendly staff truly make you feel like family. ✨ A cozy, flavorful, and heartfelt dining experience — a true hidden gem in NYC.

The Bartender Davide from Italy is a special bartender, amazing vibes and drinks! I ate 2 appetizers: Fried calamari and grilled octopus and a Branzino with potatoes as my main! Will def go back ! 5 ⭐️
