Had the most amazing experience. What a beautiful church and the gutto was simply beautiful. If you never visit , you must come and see in feel the presence of the holy spirit.

Beautiful building, statues, and etc... but the clergy/people handling paperwork do not seem very welcoming to people returning to The Church. The clergy don't seem to like answering questions, made me feel like I was wrong for asking questions, and this leads me to the conclusion that I should avoid talking to the priests and ask the Internet instead if I can't just figure it out on my own which is a conclusion that does not seem right or good at all. Also they had me and my wife go through a convalidation process with them for months, do the convalidation ceremony, and after all that they still did not registered us in the church because I didn't specifically ask them to register us even though it seems like an extremely obvious thing for them to do.

I attended my niece’s First Communion at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and ended up leaving because of how I was treated by the ushers. I drove from San Antonio and arrived a few minutes late, which I understand may require direction—but not like this. They were unwelcoming and spoke in a rude, dismissive tone. What crossed the line was being physically stopped—an usher blocked my path and touched my arm to prevent me from walking. That kind of contact with a stranger is inappropriate. It made me feel unsafe, triggered anxiety, and my breathing became difficult to the point that I had to leave. I’ve heard others in the Latino community describe this church as unwelcoming, and this experience reinforced that. Pope Francis speaks about “todos, todos, todos”—the Church being for everyone. That was not reflected here. A Catholic church should embody dignity, respect, and belonging for all people. This was not that. There needs to be serious improvement in how ushers treat people—respectful, non-physical communication should be the minimum.

Went here on Easter Sunday for the first time. They had more than enough seating for the huge crowd of people that attended mass. We were very grateful. We didn't have to stand the entire time in the back of the church or even outside.

Love the daily noon Mass. Very convenient when I am running errands in New Braunfels. Start time is actually 12:10 p.m. & is over about 12:45🙏
