I'm new to town and it was one of my first stops for assistance. Friendly and helpful. Got a free box of food and help filling out paperwork for SNAP. SNAP is the foodstamp program. And also got a appointment for more free food next week.
NB Food Bank is a wonderful place to volunteer with multiple areas to sign up for. The staff is delightful and they even have volunteer shifts in the garden! Sign up and help your neighbors!
Lady in the front with the bun is always rude and talks down on people, maybe find another job that you love? The rest of the staff are amazing and so helpful!!!
GARDEN IS GORGEOUS!!! So much fresh produce and herbs. Volunteering in the garden is so much, the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. Such a great space!
I work from 8 am to 4pm so getting out of work to try to get food assistance is a hard thing for me to do. I called today to get some clarification on the times for walk-ins since it'd be my first time and I can't make an appointment online. I was having a hard time hearing the lady through the background noise and she hanged up on me after telling me to come tmrw. This rating is more about the rudness shown than anything else.
The many of us who benefit from the donations of food at the New Braunfels Food Bank are very grateful to everyone who donated to them and to all the volunteers who make it all possible.

Good place. but to call to make an appointment is hard to get ahold of someone. I’ve called 4 times today within an hour of each time. I can’t just show up because I live in seguin and trying not to use all my gas. When making an appointment online it says we will call you but how? There is no option to leave a phone number. Make it make sense how will you be able to contact someone that way
