I booked this last minute as my flight was leaving later in the evening. What can I say? This was a top 3 of the things I did in Nashville. If you don’t do this tour, you are crazy. Our guide, I think Elana, was very good at her job. She knew answers to all the questions and was knowledgeable. The mansion tour itself was worth the money but to be able to walk the grounds at your leisure and not have a time limit is pretty cool. There’s also a wine sampling at the end where you get to try four wines. You do have the option to buy them and they will even ship them to your home state. There is a little cafe that has good food, an ice cream shoppe and live music. This was an A+ place. Gift shop as well as a bar with a buffet too.
I've had the privilege of photographing a few surprise proposals and engagement sessions at Belle Meade, it holds such a special place in my heart! The grounds are absolutely stunning in every season, creating the perfect backdrop for some of life's biggest moments. The staff is kind and welcoming, and it's hard to beat celebrating with a glass of wine afterward!
Great experience with our tour guide, Tayghan. She was very knowledgeable. Learned so much history about this place. The live music after the wine tasting was a vibe. I enjoyed myself.
We took the Journey to Jubilee tour and learned so much about Belle Meade from the perspective of the enslaved residents as recounted from oral histories, and the scarce records they’ve been able to find. Our tour guide, Keegan, was very informative and had a great story-telling quality to the narrative. I’d definitely recommend this tour.
Beautiful grounds. So many cool artifacts. We enjoyed the wine tasting also. It’s a great place to spend a day roaming and enjoying the grounds. We took the Belle Meade Mansion tour, our tour guide did a great job and I’m doing a bad job remembering his name 🫤 he was young & funny.
Very informative guide for our tour and lots of really cool things to see, old and new. Wine tasting was awesome and gift shop was the best shop we visited on our whole trip. An overall favorite from our whole trip to Nashville

I had such an incredible experience at Belle Meade Winery and Historic Home in Nashville! The combination of rich history, beautiful grounds, and delicious wine made it the perfect stop during my trip. The historic home tour was fascinating—so much detail, storytelling, and preserved beauty from the past. You can truly feel the history as you walk through each room.
The wine tasting was a highlight! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun even for casual wine drinkers. Every pour was unique, and the wines were absolutely delicious.
The grounds themselves are stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for photos or just strolling around. I loved that there’s also a quaint little coffee shop on-site, which was such a cozy spot to unwind after exploring.
Another bonus: it’s super close to downtown Nashville, making it an easy and convenient outing. I would absolutely recommend Belle Meade to anyone visiting the area. A must-do experience! 🍷🌿🏛️💛
If you go to Nashville, take a look at Belle Meade mansion. Make sure to take the tour that includes the inside of the house and complementary wine tasting. The wine isn’t that great if you are from California, but interesting just the same.
