Such a fun aquarium!!! So much better than the New England Aquarium. I love visiting the Mystic Aquarium. The Beluga Whales alone are such a huge draw! So much to see, and they also have a nice variety of food!

This was an amazing family experience. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. All of the exhibits were very interesting and informative. We were able to enjoy the sea lion show and we definitely listened to the staff keeping everyone behind the yellow line. There is a large parking lot right outside that does fill up quick. We are looking forward to going back again soon?

Took my son here while on vacation and it was great. Amazing to see some of these animals up close. They were clearly prepared for people and kids. The touch section was fantastic and they even had an indoor play area. It’s not cheap but it was very cool.

So that anyone has any questions about "What if I have a medical emergency while visiting?" Let me tell you, talk about respect, care and complete support. They clear out the area quickly and block it off. And it was apparent that the fire department is very close by. Took all of maybe two minutes to hear the equipment coming.

Great day, wonderful animal exhibits, and super duper friendly staff! Seal show wad cool. The gift shop was nice, food was way too expensive but it's all for conservation so who the heck cares what a wonderful day! Can't wait to come back.

I thought this aquarium was wonderful. It’s an interesting layout with the use of indoor and outdoor exhibits. The sea lions are hilariously entertaining, the reef tanks are colorful and lively, and the belugas are breathtaking. However, as of May 2026 the underwater beluga areas were closed for renovations. Which, of course, excellent to renovate and make things safer but there should have been a tiny discount for one of their most prominent attractions being half hidden. The tickets were honestly much more expensive than I was anticipating. But after taking the time to learn about all of this aquarium’s conservation acts, it’s hard to be upset. The staff are knowledgeable and can answer any and all questions we threw at them.

Great aquarium for kids, especially around 5–7 years old! There’s so much for children to enjoy. They even have a beluga, which was really exciting to see! The sea lion show was also a highlight fun, entertaining, and something kids absolutely love. There’s also a nice little outdoor play area where kids can run around, take a break, and burn off some energy after walking through the aquarium. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for a family outing and a great way to spend a few hours with children!

Visited the Mystic Aquarium and had a great experience. The aquarium is clean, well organized, and packed with interesting exhibits that make it enjoyable for both adults and kids. One of the highlights was seeing the beluga whales up close. Watching them swim and interact is something you do not get to experience everywhere and it really makes the visit special. Another standout was the seal and sea lion show. It was fun, educational, and very engaging. The trainers did a great job explaining the animals and the sea lions were incredibly smart and playful. Definitely worth watching and one of the best parts of the visit. There are also plenty of indoor exhibits with jellyfish, sharks, tropical fish, and interactive displays that keep things interesting throughout the entire walk through. Overall it is a fantastic attraction in Mystic. If you enjoy marine life or are visiting the area with family, this place is definitely worth the trip.
