Muskegon Museum of Art

This ended up being my favorite place to visit in Michigan. I was delightedly surprised by how big the museum actually is! We came in about 40 minutes from closing on our last day on vacation and loved it. They have a room for student art, and it was amazing to see the new generation's creativity. One of the security workers we spoke to said they change around every 3 months, so it will be different when I inevitably visit again. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I'm so excited to come back next time! This time around, they had a batman car that the worker said was driven in! They even had a batman suit on display that was worn in one of the movies. We got there with only an hour left until closing, and it was a tight fit, but I think we saw everything. I really wish I had longer to read the artist's statement, but I'll make sure to make plenty of time for the next visit. There are soooo many picture-worthy locations btw!! I just didn't have my phone out much.

I went here for the Muskegon Museum of Art- Arts and Drafts night. I volunteered to help serve beer for Fetch Brewing. I got there early and went thru the Comics exhibit, they had the Batmobile from Michael Keatons batman, VERY cool, and a bunch of other things as well. The Arts and Drafts night was a very popular event to showcase the Museum!! I had a really good time and would highly recommend this!

Beautiful and spacious museum! The staff were really nice and insightful about the beautiful pieces hanging. Also the find the pigeon gave was pretty fun!

Beautiful galleries to walk through. There was a fun bingo and find all the pigeons game for the "kids" that was fun.

There is a beautiful glass collection to view which is one of the best presented I've seen, the lighting is perfect on each object and the totally blacked out room makes every single piece glow. I was there to see this year's Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibition. I have a piece included and am very honored to be in it. Beautiful exhibition spaces and very thoughtfully hung. This exhibition is totally free to view, as is the parking lot behind the building. Highly recommend

This museum has a lot to offer, I was definitely impressed.

First time visiting this museum. We went to see the Art Nouveau: Age of Elegance exhibit. Didn't disappoint. This museum is expansive and offers many styles and mediums from glass to oil and canvis to sculptures. 12$ entry fee is well worth it.

It was my first time going since they renovated, and it's beautiful. Such a Thoughtful layout, and gorgeous pieces. My family was visiting, and my mom made a note that every door held a new surprise. The staff was kind and helpful with questions. We saw everything in under 2 hours. Really looking forward to going back.
