Price for general admission is $25 and you have seven days to enjoy visiting the gardens. The Summer Night ticket is an extra $35. You don't get the general admission with it, the seven day pass, or access to the Low country gallery's and zoo. The gardens are beautiful and worth seeing. Most of the volunteers/staff were excellent. A few were eager to push you away for matters of convenience.

So worth the trip! I'm about 2.5-3 hours away from this gem and I will be going back! I don't know how busy it typically is, but I went during the weekday in the beginning of May. It was sprinkling on and off, so luckily there weren't a lot of people. I'm not joking when I say, the workers outnumbered the visitors that day. It was peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Everyone who worked there was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable as well. If you don't fall in love with the landscaping, which I did, the statues, poetry, and the shops should do the trick! I was 2 days too early to see the rose garden, but I can only imagine how beautiful it is. They have a little zoo, I didn't go, but I did see some antelope while driving around the expansive property. They have the land to make the animals VERY comfortable. It's more humane than most zoos I've been to.

Beautiful grounds! Price is fair, this place is huge. We happened to hit it right for the feeding presentation at the zoo side and that woman was amazing! So kind and informative. The people here are very nice and seem to really care about the place, gardens, and grounds. It's a full day activity! Oh, and shuttles to take you from place to place is a very nice touch! Only downside is maybe could use one more cafe, at the zoo side, because the others are further away and the hours of the cafes are just around lunch mostly. Maybe pack a meal and sit in one of the many tables around the parking. Its honestly a really awesome place!

We had a wonderful time at Brookgreen Gardens! The area is huge! They have a seperate area for a smaller zoo and their otters are just adorable! The zoo area is paved and it is easy to visit with strollers. The bathrooms have diaper changing tables. The garden is absolutely amazing!! Every area was very well kept and taking care of! You can easly can be there 2-3 hours. The great thing is once you have your tickets you can go back again for the next 5 days with your same tickets! Make sure you keep your tickets! Beautiful place to visit!

Beautiful gardens and amazing statues. We did the Silent City tour and absolutely loved it, so fascinating. What really struck me was how the slave cemeteries have been barely touched, with graves simply grouped quietly in the woods. The stories shared and reading the epitaphs were incredibly interesting. Highly recommend.

Everyone i met was nice. I did go early the morning to beat traffic but it was way bigger then i thought. Definitely worth going. 25 per person and its good for 7 days. Me and my boyfriend had spare time so we did the whole thing but it did take around 4-5 hours of walking and a 15 min break to eat. They have 2 or so places to stop for food/drink. One of them being the old kitchen. The staff were super nice there as well. The whole place is definitely worth coming back to again. The place is big so without a map you could get a bit lost on your first time but there's staff that walk around to give info and facts. Not nearly all the pictures i took and yet the pictures dont do that place justice!

Our family of 5 were so happy with our experience at the gardens. The price per ticket and the fact that you can return with those same tickets is well worth the price. There is a lot to see and experience, with all the walking, multiple days is needed. From beautiful flowers, sculptures, art, animals.. café, restaurants, low county zoo, foxes, otters, birds.. a happy time indeed. The kids area offering toys, coloring, playground. We spent hours and didn't even explore half the gardens. A great way to spend the day with friendly service throughout. Everyone was informative and very nice.

This site is worth every penny of the $25 ticket, especially if you are visiting the area because it's useable for 7 consecutive days!! We went 3 days because there is so much to see! The gardens are stunning, the sculptures amazing and the artists are incredible!! We didn't even get to see the zoo, we ran out of vacation time and had to go home. If you go to Brookgreen, go across the street to Huntington State Park and tour Atallya Castle too. This was the home of Archer and Anna Huntington. She was one of the sculptors of many of the statues and bronzes in the gardens. You can see the similarities in the grounds as they were built around the same time by the same workers during the great depression. These places are so worth the time to visit. They are incredible. Be sure to wear bug spray and sunscreen!!
