El Pescador Bar and Grill

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and have always been satisfied with both the food and the customer service. Unfortunately, today was a completely different story. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but the restaurant was not busy today, making the service we received completely unacceptable. I politely asked to change the sauce on my chilaquiles, and my plate didn't return for almost 20 minutes. By the time my food finally arrived, my family had basically finished their meals. I typically never write bad reviews, but the service provided by our waitress, Lucero, felt unhelpful and indifferent. To the point where it felt like the delay was done on purpose. I am incredibly disappointed with today’s experience.

I was pleasantly surprised with this location, service was friendly and our waiter was very helpful with all our questions, atmosphere is modern Mexican and all the greenery/flowers look very nice and cute for photo ops the food was as expected DELICIOUS, i will definitely get the molcajete next time, definitely recommend and will be going bk when i am in town, i will mention we came here to celebrate my older sisters birthday, we only waited to be seated because we were waiting for everyone to arrive, and they do offer more parking behind the car wash across the street of it so keep that in mind.

The host was welcoming and friendly. Very nice decor inside and outside too. The service was top notch. Not only our server came to our table to ask us if we needed anything, the other staff members were doing it too. Shout out to the cooks in the kitchen who we do not see. Thank you for the deliciously hot food that you prepare for all of us. To the manager she went around to make sure all the patrons were happy. Thank you all you are an amazing staff. I highly recommend this establishment. When you do come here please share with us your experience.

I recently took my family of nine to El Pescador Montebello, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While our waiter did her best and provided decent service, the overall customer experience fell far below expectations. We arrived around 9:15 PM, were seated promptly, and continued ordering throughout our visit. At approximately 10:24 PM, we requested a few tacos to take home and were informed that the kitchen was already closed. This was frustrating because the restaurant's website states that it closes at 11:00 PM. As paying customers who were already dining in the restaurant, we expected to be able to place an order before the posted closing time. In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered a restaurant that refuses orders more than 30 minutes before its advertised closing time without clearly communicating that the kitchen closes earlier. Considering the premium prices charged, I expected a much higher level of customer service and professionalism. The food itself was average, but the lack of accommodation and poor handling of the situation left a negative impression on my family and me. I hope management reviews its policies and communication practices to ensure future guests do not have a similar experience. Based on this visit, I do not recommend this restaurant.

This place was really nice. We had a really nice server named Linda who helped us out with our questions regarding the drinks, the food, and about the night life since it was my first time I wanted to get a feel. I appreciate the great service my friend and I were taken care of from start to finish by anyone working in this establishment. I was also able to see whom I believe is the manager checking in with us and other tables around me . Also to be greeted by the a host in the main entrance really gives you the assurance of really being assisted all the way . There was plenty of parking but I noticed once it hits 6:30 it starts getting packed. I was informed that by 6pm it’s only 21 an over in the bar area so you get ID and gets packed with a DJ playing great music and just gets a lot of people going. I would recommend this for two people and big parties . I’m sure they can accommodate y’all just come a bit before six if you want to sit a big group together. I will definitely be coming again. Also the restrooms were supper clean they smaller great and I don’t know what it was with the rocks on the sink but I felt like I was in a resort , Las Vegas, or a private event going in there . Also there’s a sweet lady taking pictures some you can purchase for $15 and one postcard is free on the house which I though was fun.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️✨✨✨✨

El pescador restaurants are extremely elegant and this is sort of what makes the atmosphere that's a beautiful day outside. You think super delicious you have to come up for yourself? It's on Beverly Blvd. Poplar Ave. Come and check it out for yourself. I promise that you'll love it too.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS ! On 3.28.26, I had a reservation for a party of 14 to celebrate my daughter's Dodger theme birthday. I stopped by during the week, to discuss my reservation with the manager and to show them where we wanted to be seated..in the new lounge area in front of the TV so we could watch the Dodger game. ONE HOUR before the start time to my event, I received a call from the hostess informing me that the owner decided to have a private event in the room, so they would have to sit us in the restaurant, where there are no TVs. After a few back and forth, the manager told me "Hey, it's the owner, he can do whatever he wants". I told him it's the customers that are the ONLY reason that the doors stay open and after being a customer for over 10 years, and 40 plus visits and celebrations, they lost a LOYAL customer. If the owner feels we don't matter, and reservations don't matter, then I will never step foot into this place.

Update... still a great place for drinks and appetizers early in the morning 🌄 Great place for weekends, dinner lunch, and breakfast! Parking lots is large but may get filled quickly. The outside patio is nice and cool. the rear patio is great for large families and get together. The bar area is fantastic, with great music, modern atmosphere and service people were attentive and outgoing. Prices are great, and the drink is great . I wish they had more appetizer selections, but overall, the place was clean, festive, and friendly. It's definitely a great place to relax. Have a quick drink , chit, and enjoy some hearty food
