Found them on TikTok and it’s definitely a small cozy gem! Flavors on point, rotisserie chicken tender and full of flavor. Ask for extra sauce, pairs phenomenally. Mango sticky rice 😍 We will be back

Our favorite Thai place in the area. Their duck is unbelievable. I also like MASSAMAN with chicken, it’s so good and perfect for cold weather. Another thing I really like is PAD KEE-MOW, highly recommend if you have had too much PAD THAI and want to try something new.

We went there before a dance party in Montclair. This place has been on my list for a while so I was glad to try it out. I was able to make reservations through Google Assistant online which made the process much easier. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that our waitress recommended. We got the wings, roti with curry, shrimp with chili sauce, papaya and mango salads to start with. The wings were very flavorful. We got them with penang curry. The shrimp dish was okay but the sauce was yummy. The roti and the curry were delicious. My favorite were the two salads. They were very well spiced and very well balanced. We then ordered the fried whole fish with the basil and tamarind sauce. The extra sauce was an extra $7. The fish was room temperature by the time it arrived but the sauces were hot so I guess we were supposed to pour the sauces on top of the fish. I think the fish should have been hotter. We also ordered the whole chicken that came with its own sauces. Very good! I think I really enjoyed their sauces. We ordered two noodle dishes which could have had more flavor. But overall it was a great experience! I would highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back. The service was very friendly and helpful! Oh and they are BYOB which is always a good thing!

I ordered the Massaman curry mild and it came extremely spicy It will hit your senses right away also the cooks are not native Thai so the flavor is different than traditional Thai since i eaten this plate before

Kai Yang brought the cozy Montclair dinner energy in the best way 🌶️✨ The space has such a warm, colorful vibe with patterned walls, glowing lighting, and fun decor that instantly makes you want to settle in with a bowl of noodles and stay awhile. We started with the vegetable curry puff appetizer, which was flaky, warm, and lightly crisp on the outside with a flavorful curry filling inside. Such a comforting start to the meal. For mains, we ordered the green curry and pad kee mao, and both were packed with flavor. The green curry was rich, creamy, and comforting with fresh vegetables and tofu soaking up all that coconut curry goodness. The pad kee mao had that smoky wok-char flavor with perfectly chewy noodles and just the right level of spice. Also loved the fresh coconut water to cool everything down between bites. Big shoutout to Stephenie, who took amazing care of us throughout the meal. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. Definitely a great vegetarian-friendly spot in Montclair if you’re craving flavorful Thai comfort food.

We shared the whole rotisserie chicken between us both, and it lived up to the hype. It was easy amongst the best rotisserie chicken I ever ate due to the seasoning. The suggestion to get a bowl of curry on the side was a bullseye We ordered a green curry—it was delicious. Just enough spice and chocked full of vegetables. A great accompaniment. (The Tom Kha soup was also very good.)

I don't know what others are talking about. This food (at least what I ordered) was delicious and flavorful. The kai yang chicken had great flavor, was nice and tender, and the red curry sauce only elevated it. And the papaya salad was fresh, refreshing, and pungent with fish sauce and lime. Overall a great meal

I will say, the service and atmosphere is very nice here. Seems very home-made, however I will have to say the cuisine has to be influenced by something contemporary. The gravy/sauces for the sautéed and curry dishes are too thick, like cornstarch you would use for Chinese cuisine. taste was 7/10 though for the chicken Thai basil and pad garlic. The chicken red curry was too thick, but decent flavor. Also no beef on the menu, not sure why. Overall 7/10 experience, going to try Kor Kai and Charm next in Montclair!
