Summer staple .. this is a must visit in the beautiful 🤩 neighborhood of monclair. The menu is vast and service is fantastic. Their fudge is the best in my/Nj area. Personally love cherry vanilla (sugarless version is my fav) and Strawberry 🍓. It’s made with real fruits. All the ice creams are made with best quality ingredients. There plenty of parking and some spots to sit and enjoy the icecream

Had a really nice experience at Applegate Farm Creamery. One thing I really appreciated was that most of their ice cream flavors were egg-free, except for the yellow cake batter flavour. Great to see that level of transparency and variety. We tried the coconut and strawberry ice cream, and both were delicious. The coconut was rich and refreshing, while the strawberry tasted fresh and full of flavor. They also have a lot of other options on the menu, and I’m definitely planning to come back to try one of their sundaes next time. It is a bit on the expensive side, but the portion sizes are huge, so it feels worth it.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream, and guess what? My sister and I finally visited Applegate Farm! It’s so sad that we’ve been just 8 minutes away since 1999 and never made it. But hey, better late than never! I decided to come on Father’s Day to try their Graham Central Station and Cookies and Cream flavors. They were absolutely delicious! I even went back on a solo trip a week later just to try the Graham Central Station again, which is my absolute favorite. It’s so good that I might get in trouble with these several trips I plan on doing this summer to try all of their other flavors, but hey, what’s wrong with a little treat now and then🤭? I’ll definitely be back again and again! 😋

Applegate Farm is an absolute hidden gem! The ice cream tastes so homemade and delicious, and the portions are HUGE. About $8 for two flavors....unbeatable for the quality and amount you get. Friendly staff, fast-moving line, and 100% worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back again and again! 🍦😍

Always good ice cream! Wasn’t a big fan of the hot chocolate $12 . Didn’t look anything like they advertise . The ice cream was melted and the hot chocolate was cold. They filled the cup full of marshmallow. More like $7 for this cup. But I def only their ice cream got a quart for $16 . I spent $28 for a cup of cold hot chocolate & a quart of ice cream

It's very cute. If there are 15 people ahead of you, get ready to stand in line for an hour. I recommend line-chasing/hopping if you come with a group. Both the lines on either side of our line moved MUCH faster than ours, and we never figured out why. If it's busy, park on the street and walk over. We almost couldn't get out because somebody parked at the entrance to the lot we were in. The peach ice cream was quite nice. The cotton candy was good but not better than Friendly's. My dad liked the Maple Walnut more than Friendly's. I might come again, but it would need to be at off-peak times. If I had been there by myself, I would've left after 20 minutes.

I just had my first time visit to this place and I am abundantly overjoyed on account of not only having a healthy treat for myself but due to the place being sustainable. The milk for the ice cream is naturally made which means no artificial ingredients. I frequently tell people that we need healthier foods and more sustainable ways of living in our developing world. I loved the sugar-free vanilla milkshake I had.
