Route 47 Pub & Grub

I visited route 47 a few weeks ago for a show, which was surprisingly a hip hop cover band. Much better than I was expecting it to be. I had a harley inferno burger or something - it had peppers. It had good heat, but not too much. There was a discrepancy with my bill, I called and spoke to a manager when I noticed it and they corrected the charge within a day. Overall I'd give it a 4.5, not a 4 which is why the main rating is 5 but the others are 4. The Food was surprisingly good for being 'bar food', drinks weren't crazy overpriced. The servers were pretty prompt and the overall vibe was nice. The sound was loud, but not needing to scream at the person next to you loud. So you could enjoy the show, but your ears weren't ringing the next day.

My friend and I came in for lunch. The waitress Laine was very nice and sweet. We did however have to wait a lot in between being helped. Once we got our burgers (we both got the American Bacon Cheeseburger). I got American cheese on my burger and my friend got pepper jack. We both ordered our burgers “medium”. I got tots and my friend got waffle fries. My friend ordered hers with only onions added, nothing else. I got lettuce, tomato and pickles added. Once we got our burgers, we immediately noticed my friend had the one with my cheese (American) and I had her pepper jack. She had my tots, I had her waffle fries. Hers also had lettuce and tomatoes on hers and it was missing the onions she ordered. We told the waitress immediately and she apologized and went to grab extra plates as we said no worries. After taking a few bites we realized we didn’t get bacon on our bacon cheeseburger. My friend had to go to the kitchen to explain we were missing our bacon as there was no one in the dining room available to help us. Laine brought back bacon on a plate for us however it was dripping in grease. The burgers were cooked well done and were very tough, even though we both ordered them to be “medium”. The manager came over after I told our waitress I didn’t feel we should have to pay because of all the back and forth of the mistakes made on our burgers. The manager was very confrontational and after explaining what happened with our meal she said “well I see you have bacon on your burgers.” We had to re-explain that yes, now we have bacon but this is the third time someone has had to come fix our burger. She said she could take it back to be remade (we didn’t want to wait any longer that we already had.) or she can give 25% off the burgers. We took 25% off because we didn’t want to wait longer. Needless to say, we still feel paying $42 for burgers and pickle fries (pickle fries were great.) was still way too much for all the headache we were given. We shouldn’t have had to pay for the burgers with how many mistakes were made and kept being made. We would have paid for the pickle fries. It was very unprofessional as a manager to make the customer feel as though they were wrong about what happened with their burger. The manager didn’t even apologize. We will unfortunately not be back. This place could be great but the management needs serious work. You always fully listen to the customer and apologize and try to make it right even if that means taking a loss.

One of my favorite venues for live music, a lot of rock and similar genres shows are hosted here. They've hosted larger bands such as Saliva in the past. Stage size is impressive, with top notch sound and lighting! Friendly staff, and food has always been good. Please be patient with wait staff on busy live music nights. Frequent food specials and other events such as bingo. A lot of seating, including some booth type seating in the back with a decent view of the stage, but get there early to claim those spots ;) Cover charge for local live music can range $5-10 depending on the band (cash only but ATM is just inside the door) Since the stage is NOT separate from the rest of the building, expect to pay the cover charge even if you're just there to eat on a music night. A couple pool tables near the entrance and additional seating out of view of the stage. Parking lot parking (free) but on busy music nights can fill up quickly. Patio area as well! Psssst check out the massive guitar on the ceiling above the bar! Bathrooms can be found in the area behind the bar...

Went for an early meal with 3 friends, early evening on a Tuesday. Food was decent, we had a table on upper level by the windows, away from the bar and stayed visiting for a couple of hours. Understand they have live music, haven't been here for that...

First time here - met family that was in the area. Food was very good and they had a burger special. We had a few questions that our waitress didn’t know or offer to get the info on their burger of the month or soup of the day so that was our only disappointment. It was a perfect spot to visit and not feel rushed.

We went for their wed $5 burger basket special. Pretty good deal as it comes with hand cut fries. The fries were awesome! The burger was great and seasoned well, cooked medium rare as ordered. They charge 50 cents for each veggie topping and $1 for cheese and bacon. We had a new server who was being trained in and she did great for being new. I am sure she will be more polished soon but was friendly, offered suggestions, and she checked on us after we got out food, all the right things. We live about 15-20 minutes away and will probably come back if already over by here or just to mix up the date night rotation. Prices for regular burgers also looked reasonable. Update Already went back a week later on $5 burger basket Wednesday again. Burgers were good again. Had small issue but Things happen. I ordered a burger with bacon, blue cheese, fried onions and mushrooms. The blue cheese was missing and server never came back until I only had a few bites left. They took the blue cheese off my bill, but should have checked on us much sooner. Also felt perhaps comp one of our sodas or something else for messing up the burger. But it still was good so keeping my rating at 4 stars. My wife got her basket with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream.. They are legit just like the hand cut fries.

Came here for the hand breaded pork tenderloin. It was very good. We ordered some pickle fries, they were amazing. Definitely coming back! Next time it's for the slaw dog.

Great food and great service. The server was awesome and was there when we needed her, never having to wait. Music was a bit loud, so we sat in the dining area. Another great visit on Friday, March 03. Food was awesome and our server was great.
