Finally visited Miami Children’s Museum after hearing about it for so long, and it really impressed us. The museum is huge — two floors full of interactive activities and imaginative play areas for kids. My children especially loved the Publix mini supermarket, the vet clinic, the fishing ship, and the Puppet Ship Theatre where they could dress up and dance. There’s also a beautiful quiet sensory room with glowing bubble columns that fascinated them. Everything was clean, including the restrooms, and the staff was very friendly. We spent about 2.5 hours there and the kids absolutely loved it. Definitely worth visiting with little ones.

Ohhh the Miami Children’s Museum is PURE magic. 🤩 We had the absolute best day there! From the moment we walked in, my kids were nonstop exploring. Every exhibit is hands-on, interactive, and actually keeps their attention (which is saying a lot). There’s so much to do that you can easily spend hours and still not see it all. I love how it’s the perfect mix of fun and learning — they’re playing the whole time but also building, creating, pretending, and using their imagination in the best ways. The mini city areas were a huge hit, and I appreciated how clean and well organized everything was, even with how busy it can get. The staff was friendly, the environment felt safe, and it’s one of those places where you leave thinking, “Okay that was 100% worth it.” If you’re in the Miami area and have kids — this is a must. We’ll absolutely be back! 💛
We had a wonderful time here. It’s clear that the staff takes great care of the facility and the young visitors. Our kids were entertained for hours! It’s a safe and creative space where children can truly explore. Highly recommend to all parents
I recently had an amazing day in Miami and wanted to share my 5-star experience! First, my visit to the Miami Children’s Museum was fantastic. The museum has been refreshed not long ago, and it really shows. The exhibits are vibrant, interactive, and engaging for all ages. They’ve done an excellent job creating a fun and educational environment where kids can explore and learn through play. After the museum, I grabbed lunch at Subway, which was fresh and satisfying—a perfect quick bite to keep the day going. I also got to enjoy the Ice Arctic’s new presentation, which was truly impressive. The immersive visuals, including the Socks Sky feature, were awesome and memorable. Overall, the combination of the revamped museum, tasty lunch, and the stunning Ice Arctic presentation made for a perfect outing. 5 stars all the way!
I came to the children’s museum and I thought it was a great place for children. I absolutely love how the children can pretend to be firefighters, doctor, veterinarian and even grocery shop. I love seeing local partners inside the museum such as Publix, Jackson Health System, Baptist and Carnival. The Peanuts exhibit was very reminiscing from our childhood. I also absolutely enjoyed the Peanuts show where they read some books in a very animated way. They kept the children’s attention throughout the whole show. They also have a musical garden and playground outside that are fun. If you have kids, this is the place to be as they have a lot of interactive exhibits and activities.
I’ve been bringing my kids to Miami Children’s Museum for over a decade, so this place holds a special spot in our family’s memories. My personal favorite exhibit has always been the Publix section where kids can pretend to make subs and be cashiers. The art studio and the sandbox area are also big hits and keep little ones busy for a long time. The museum is always clean, the bathrooms are well kept, and the staff is consistently sweet, helpful, and welcoming. They also host fun events throughout the year like National Ice Cream Day and Halloween. If you’re local, the annual pass is definitely worth it if you plan on visiting more than once. My kids started to outgrow it around age 8, but I still bring my younger one and even my older kids sometimes come along for the nostalgia.
This is a great spot for families with children! We had a blast and the little ones really enjoyed themselves. Parking was super affordable, which is always a huge plus. On the downside, the gift shop was a bit on the pricier side for what they offered. Still, everything else about our visit was really enjoyable. We ended up spending well over two hours exploring everything. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun outing for the kids. Just maybe skip the gift shop unless you're prepared for the cost!
This place was so worth going! It reminded me of Wannado City in Sawgrass Mills Mall. I always prefer going to places during the week, and it being friday was a great day. From the entrance with all the musical instruments to the fun stamps that glow. Our kids felt very included and I surely felt safe. We went when the art room was making bookmarks! Hope we did good I was going to have them laminated to preserve them they are so cute ! We had a lot of fun in the fitness center upstairs and they had a little event going on in the first room we went into what great timing. Everything flowed so smooth. There was a subways downstairs which makes lunch convinient. Will be visiting again soon !
