The zoo was wonderful but the cat cafe is a hard no!! Not because of the food or the price but because the staff. Out of all 4 of the people I interacted with during our lunch Michael( an older gentleman) was the only one with any customer service skills. We spent 6 hours enjoying the zoo and the animals and would highly recommend visiting. But do yourself a favor and pack your own lunch. It will not only save you from being treated like crap but save you $70. That was the bare minimum to feed 3. Just a heads up. Pictures of the amazing animal are included.

We didn’t expect to have interactive water features but it was much appreciated on a hot day! We had a ball walking through all the exhibits. I was very impressed by the set up to allow visitors to see and engage with the animals. Best of all, we were visiting from out of state and our membership from Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium was reciprocated- which is why we chose to go today. Such a great stop full of amazing memories!
Really great zoo! Pretty open and good size. Lots of exhibits, including a reptile house, aquarium, and tropical bird. Lots of snack and food areas. Also had some splash areas for the kids, of all areas. There is a zip line and feeding areas for the giraffes, both an extra fee. Cost werent bad though, thought it was very reasonable. Also there were timed talks at most events. Staff was very friendly. Its definitely worth a visit, won't disappoint
The Memphis Zoo is one of the best in the nation! My family and I get a membership every year and go all year around. They have a splash pad and playground right next to the food court and tons of wonderful animal exhibits. My daughter loves the sea lion shows as well!
Made me feel like I was at Disney Sea World! And you no longer have to wait until 2pm on free admission Tuesday. You can now go at 9am by booking an online reservation and make a cash donation of your choice.
Price was $35 per person plus $10 for parking. Extra fee for kids water area, train ride, zip line coaster, and animal feeding. Entrance has a nice little stream that kids can walk in to cool off and play. They also, have coffee and beer in the front area concession. Park has a few Air conditioned stops, Nile crocodile, Teton where grizzlies and wolfs are, near the small kids train area etc. giraffes feeding area. Many animals to see. The entire park can be walked in 3hrs if you want to do that.
I’ve visited many zoos in my time, but hands down, this is the best zoo I’ve ever been to! The ambiance is fantastic, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The zoo showcases a wonderful variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, and snakes, which made our visit incredibly exciting. My daughter had an absolute blast exploring and learning about all the different species. While you can purchase food in the zoo, I found the prices to be on the higher side. For instance, I spent $9 on a small cup of Dippin' Dots and $8 per slice of pizza, which felt a bit steep. Despite the food prices, our overall experience was delightful, and I will definitely be purchasing a membership to enjoy future visits. This zoo is a must-visit for families and animal lovers alike!
Great layout. The design is incredible and the layout is fairly easy to navigate. They had some construction going on so we did have to backtrack in a few spots. Seems like a lot of the talks are at 1:30 so not possible to make several of them. There are several spots to fill up water bottles but far apart. The giraffe feeding was a cool experience to get up close.
