An Absolute Must-Do Tour! We had an incredible time at Squire Boone Caverns, and a massive shout-out goes to our tour guide, Joe! Joe was fantastic. He didn’t just point out the cave formations; he brought the entire history of the caverns to life. His genuine passion for history and his storytelling about Squire Boone’s life story added amazing color to the whole experience. We walked away having learned a ton while being completely entertained the entire time. Pro Tip for anyone visiting: do not sleep on the restaurant! Grab a bite, and absolutely do not leave without getting some of Mama D’s fudge—it is genuinely the world's best. Thank you, Joe, for an amazing tour! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Squire Boone Caverns, our tour guide Owen was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He took his time to answer all of our questions. The cave itself is really beautiful and we loved hearing about the history of Squire Boone. This is a great family friendly attraction, all of the staff were extremely friendly! If you go to the bake shop get the cornmeal cookies with honey drizzled on them and the fudge! We also got a mulled apple candle that smelled amazing!

Fantastic, fun affordable day trip with my husband and 9 year old son. Rissa, our tour guide, was warm and knowledgeable, with tons great local lore, geological information, and fun facts to share throughout the tour that really added to the experience! She was outstanding with our mixed group of little kids and older folks, answering all the questions and most importantly keeping us safe as we navigated the rushing rivers in the cave, that were overfull from recent unseasonably heavy rain and flooding. It was a rare and unique experience to see the water like this in the caverns! Petting zoo was clean and lots of fun with friendly goats and pigs. Gift shop was shockingly affordable, as if the prices had not been updated since the place opened in the 1970s, and many of the nice quality sweatshirts were marked 50% off of that. We are so lucky to have such rich and one of a kind history so close to home! All staff was super friendly and approachable, like they were happy to be there! The grounds were well kept, clean, and organized. Good signage and accessibility for what is truly a wild, rugged natural area. A bus trip of senior citizens was arriving right as we left, so it’s good to know they can accommodate large groups of all kinds. 100% recommend and this is our favorite caverns in cave country Indiana/Kentucky.

I spent the day checking out Squire Boone and Marengo Caves. Between the two, I would recommend Squire Boone! I purchased my cave tour ticket upon arrival and was about to join the next tour no problem. There are some pigs and goats outside the gift shop along with the gift shop itself to pass some time before your tour starts. The tour takes approximately 1 hour to complete and is led by a tour guide. There is a lot of water in this cave which was super cool, the path walks right over the top of a roaring waterfall and has a very large rimstone dam which I have a video of in this review. The tour is packed full of stalagmites and stalactites of all shapes and sizes, along with multiple waterfalls and fun history throughout. Being only an hour long, it makes for a fun family adventure that keeps kids entertained. I highly recommend checking this cave out when in the area!

- $27 cash or card for adults, tickets can be purchased day of and tours leave about every hour from the gift shop - bathrooms in the gift shop - lots of free parking out front - definitely one of my favorite caves in Indiana! The tour felt the longest that I’ve done out of all the caves in southern Indiana and the tour guide was super helpful and knowledgable (I think their name was Aries)

I came here for the first time in elementary school. It’s a field trip that stuck with me and I always wanted to come back. After visiting again, I realize that I feel a connection to this place. If you’re a person that feels super connected to earth I really recommend visiting. At one point in the tour they turn all the lights off. I am scared of the dark and felt very at peace in the cave. Honestly it’s not even just the cave. The whole property is wonderful. Squire Boone Caverns is truly a special place. I will be visiting again soon.

We really enjoyed our guided tour! We had 4 children with us and felt very safe the whole time, even with my 5yo. Cool history! Beautiful natural wonder!
