The history of this once private residence and the 9 types of architecture since 1895 is fascinating, however-not worth $15 (maybe $5). The rooms are filled with all kinds of intriguing historic relics, but there didn’t seem to be a flow or purpose to the collection of what was there. There was no explanation as to why WWI and WWII uniforms and photos were exhibited at this house. It’s pretty interesting but if you are in a crunch for time to see other things, I’d skip it.

Went yesterday with my daughter husband and it exceeded our expectations! If you want to feel welcomed and have divine teas and delicious food look no further! Our server was delightful and witty and took such good care of everyone in the room. After the tea, tour the castle and talk to Kelly (aka the Duchess in the dungeon) and listen to her stories, she was AMAZING!! If your between having tea here or The Brown Palace where you pay twice the amount, go HERE! So happy we did!
Exceptional place to have high tea! The menu is extensive with thorough descriptions of the unique teas available. It's worth every penny, and plan to wear one of their fancy hats while you try an alcoholic beverage or two. Their drinks are unusual and delicious!
Who doesnt love a castle?!? I feel like there was so much more we could have gone through. But like they said it's a long term job trying to restore it to it's natural interior beauty.
Stepping into the Queen's Parlour Tea Room at Miramont Castle felt like opening a page from a Victorian fairytale. Sharing high tea with my favorite girls was more than just a meal. It was a memory steeped in nostalgia, joy, and elegance. The four-course experience with its tender scones, savory bites, and a shareable duo of tea flavors, was a delicious journey through time. The final touch, a delightful tea dessert, was the perfect sweet ending to a soulful afternoon. A special nod to the staff, whose warm hospitality and storytelling brought the castle's 130 year legacy to life. Their passion and grace made every detail feel like part of a living history, where every tale and smile echoed the timeless charm of Miramont. The ambiance itself, what a treasure. The curated collectibles throughout the castle invite you to linger, reflect, and marvel. Every corner whisper of the past, offering beauty and serenity that transcends time. I recommend this family friendly heartwarming and unforgettable experience.
Let me start by saying the staff was so amazing! This place is great for any family adventure. Such interesting history and stories behind it. Any questions you have will be answered and they offer papers to show you the right way to go and lots of details. The gift shop was awesome offering things from sweets to jewelry. Overall I'll come back my wife and daughter had a great time!
Large castle with Victorian theme. You don't get to tour the 40 rooms, but you get a nice sample. Very pretty at Christmas. Nice gift shop with their custom teas to take home. Bonus firefighter museum at the beginning and Pikes Peak race museum at the end!
Oh my gosh the Tea Room was amazing I enjoyed myself very much. The food was delicious and the service was totally on point? And the Castle itself was beautiful, I would definitely recommend a visit the parking is a little iffy but a wonderful day spent.
