My new favorite Persian restaurant in LA. I have tried their entire menu, and boy, it is all great. All the food tastes like original and premium Persian style. The downside is that the restaurant itself and the dining area are small, but the food is so goated that it is well worth trying. Highly recommended!

Visitor notes
We came from Indiana because we miss Persian food. I would say only Taste of Tehran reminds us Tehran foods and kabab. Please always keep your food quality as it is. And recommend to everyone wants to enjoy the real taste and hospitality.
The koobideh had an excellent flavor and was clearly made with fresh ingredients. The salad was very fresh and tasty, and the mast-o-musir was outstanding. Compared to larger restaurants in the same area, I personally prefer the food here and would definitely come back again.
It is a small place, but the food was amazing. I loved their Kabob Kobideh. It is of quality meat. Kabob Barg or Kabob chenjeh was also excellent (fillet minion) . I think they are also famous for their Adas Polo (lentil rice). It is kind of self serve You order, pay, and they bring the food for you. I would definitely go back again.
They are so close to 5 stars, but the prices are a tad high for what you get and there is always a wait. They don't take reservations. The place is small so I understand, it is just time consuming. This is a place where you order at the counter and get your food to eat there, they have a few seats and a few outdoor seats. The service is super nice and they know their menu well. It is not fancy, but it is clean and well maintained. It is in Westwood Village so parking can be a pain, just go to a lot and walk. It is a great lunch place and you can also get dinner there. They deliver and have pick up. We love their salads and that is what we usually get. Their Tehran Salad is my favorite. It has Romaine lettuce, feta cheese, grape tomato, Persian cucumber, some red onion and black olives with a great lemon dressing. Their wraps are good, but for the price I would like a little more. They are good, however. All of them are tasty. This is not fine dinning. It is mid range, order at the counter, and have fun place. We do.
Amazing food, warm and welcoming staff, great vibe. Highly recommend!
Friendly people but the food is hit or miss at times. The koobideh is incredible, the best we’ve ever had! But the soltani is not a good deal as the cut of beef is super tough. Their prices are a bit outrageous for a self service counter top restaurant. The kashk bademjan is awful!!! Do not order this! Twice I’ve gotten it and it’s just straight up kashk. Tastes super sour and dry and it’s clear they’re cutting costs by just mixing a ton of kashk into it. Had to send it back! Bread is served cold and no paneer or sabzi which is off putting considering the crazy prices.
The staff was soooo nice and helpful. The guy taking our order was very helpful and had a great personality he took our order with the nicest smile and you could see he was just as helpful and nice with all the other customers!! The food was amazing and the portions were very big !! But that’s not a bad thing at all. Amazing all around.
