St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church

Beautiful church. The landscape was well taken care of upon arriving. However, the true beauty is inside. The artwork and architecture is captivating. Was there for a wedding so not the normal visit but a great overall experience. The priest did an amazing job and was refreshing to hear.

Absolutely beautiful church—definitely worth a peek if you are in the neighborhood. Please respect people’s religious beliefs when taking pictures and exploring the premises.

This stunning church in downtown LA is a true gem; the brothers' singing is absolutely divine, making the mass very solemn. The church closes after mass and everyone must vacate.

Absolutely terrible customer service from the front desk receptionist Roxy or Rocky? Her brief hold was not brief but that isn’t what was the worst part it’s when I inquired about my wedding date. 12/12 I know that it is Virgen de Guadalupe feast day as I celebrate it and truly love her. The absolute disrespect and judgmental snappy attitude I received stating “you do know that’s Virgen de Guadalupe’s feast day, right!?!” I said yes and then proceeded to say “yeah that’s a negative NO Church will perform your wedding on that day!!” I informed her that my home church in cypress has that date but that I’m having a reception in Los Angeles and like how I earlier stated that it has been my dream since I was a little girl to get married that St. Vincent de Paul. In today’s world so many people around my age or younger are turning away from the church and if you ask them why they all have the same answer it’s how the people that are actively involved in the church treat them. Just like this lady. People like this woman are the reason why no one wants to practice Catholicism anymore.

Gorgeous. A spectacle to see in the heart of LA. very impressive exterior architecture, interior design equally impressive. A site to taken even for the non-church going experience, just an appreciation for design and principles.

I photographed my first outdoor Catholic wedding here! It truly is a magnificent place. After the ceremony, the couple and I walked the grounds and found loads of incredible photo spots. Highly recommend getting married/taking wedding portraits here!!
