Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market, Bistro & Seafood Market

Wonderful market with so many high end and quality foods. Just went in for a Creme Brulee and a Canele after visiting a close by seafood stand for lunch. They will add the sugar and caramelize at the shop if you want to enjoy it at one of the many seating areas. We ended up shopping around for a while and found some wonderful treats. Staff is super friendly, the store is very clean, well organized and packed with so many foods we would love to try. The selections and options are great. So many choices.

If you're looking for unique European produce - that’s the place witch‘ll bring you joy. I found a great selection of 100% chocolate from all over the world and such tasty duck and goose liver mousse. Oh, and the real butter 💛 And the restaurant is just as great as the market. French onion soup is well balanced and juicy equator just as perfect as everything else. Service is quick and responsive.

We gave this place a try while at the Farmers Market. The menu looked good and it seemed like a very popular place. It was a Sunday afternoon on Mother's Day and it was fairly busy, but it was a short wait for a table. Once seated we were quickly attended to and our food arrived very quickly. The Beef Bourguignon was very good, I'd say about 4.5 out of 5. Overall a great first time experience with high quality food and fast efficient service. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Great selection of extraordinary products in the store. The french baguette was still warm and delicious. In the restaurant I ordered the soup of the day, which was vegan pumpkin soup. It was so creamy and flavorful! Sandwich with turkey - lovely. Another thing we tried was potato gratin, which was fabulous, and we also had the steak and fries, and let me tell you, it was great. I'm glad that we found this gem!

Favorite spot for French cuisine. They have the best fondue 🫕😁 Their service is impeccable. Their server Nyko gives you the best guest experience. Try their desserts absolutely exquisite 😋

Stopped by the Farmers Market for a bite and saw Monsieur Marcel which I haven't been to in a long time. They have expanded and now for dining, have a little covered alcove, a lot of outside (but covered tables and a bar area with seating. We were seated right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful (and French). It has a nice French feel to the space and you can image this in Paris. Or LA, as it is in the middle of the market. We ordered a baguette (with French butter) and two entrées. The beef bourguignon and the steak frites, both so French! The bourguignon was served with pappardelle noodles. The steak was a rib eye with shoestring frites (I prefer the thicker more traditional frites) with peppercorn sauce. Along with a couple of glasses of the house red blend (generous puors too). The winner was the bourguignon. Very tasty, tender meat and well seasoned. It fit well with the pappardelle noodles too. A great sauce for the bread. The steak frites, while tender, was not the best I have had. It could have had a little more seasoning. But I would certainly try it again (another note for thicker frites too). For desert we had the chocolate mousse. Very chocolaty and served with whipped cream (Chantilly?) on top. All in all a most enjoyable meal in a wonderful location. The servers were all helpful and we were never rushed at all. We of course had to go into their gourmet market afterwords for some additional French treats!

Super delicious! I had the boeuf bourguignon and found it to be absolutely delightful, from the tender short rib and perfectly cooked pasta to the flavorful, rich sauce and fresh vegetables. The portion size is generous as well. If you love French cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant for anything from a casual dinner to a romantic night out.

The bistro transports you to the streets of Paris with amazing food, vibes, and service. The menu is authentic and offers lots of delicious French dishes. The market has so many items and is interesting to just browse around. Also the seafood is super fresh and delicious. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
