Luxe Laundries- Western Ave

It was my first time using washing machines in the United States during this trip, and everything went smoothly thanks to Joyce. She was extremely kind, explained how everything worked, and even helped me with the card payment. I highly recommend this laundromat if you need to freshen up your clothes during your trip.

I ended up at this laundromat by random choice and I’m glad I did, because I left my wallet and Joyce made it so easy for me to get my washers started and I could tap pay at the front desk. It is also very clean, bright and airy unlike most laundromats. Place is well kept, no crowd and the machines are all in good condition! If I lived closer it would be “my spot.” Thanks Joyce! And don’t forget your physical card people!

I moved to LA two years ago and had to get used to the laundromat game. I've tried a lot of different ones, shopping around to see which is best. This is the first one where I've ever been greeted, asked if I had any questions, and/or checked up on during my visit. Joyce was very kind and hospitableand clearly cares about keeping the space well maintained. The machines were a bit more than I've paid at some other mats, but it was quiet, extremely clean, offered a variety of sizes for loads, and had a place to purchase/fill water. If you're looking for a clean, quiet place in this area to do laundry, highly recommend.

I live down the street and come here all the time to do my laundry. Joyce is the best and is beyond helpful to me and the other patrons who come here. Laundry may technically be a chore for many of us humans but I truly look forward to coming in and seeing Joyce smile. The laundromat to me is a spiritual place where I can read a book and have a moment of peace with my community. Thank you Joyce for being so full of joy in here. We feel it!

Let me just say, walking into this spot was a delightful experience. The sliding door was a surprisingly nice touch, as I didn't have to push or touch any doors to get in with my hands full of laundry. As we walked in we were greeted by Vaughn, a very professional and personable guy, he walked me through the process and how to load up their loyalty card. I've been to many laundromats and I can tell you, my experience here feels very VIP. The temperature here was nice and cool on a warm day, and the music was very chill non-intrusive. This experience almost felt spa like. I'll definitely come back here. Gone are the days of muggy and overcrowded smelly laundromats. Oh and I believe they have a secured locked bathroom for guest! But don't quote me on that. Anyway, thank you Vaughn for creating such a welcoming experience. 🙏

Joyce was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She is always so willing to help in any way. The store is always impeccably clean. All the staff has been WONDERFUL! I LOVE Wash on Western! If you’re looking for a place to go, go there, you won’t be disappointed!

Vaughn was amazing from the moment I parked the car. He knew I was coming and in and brought a basket for my laundry. His attention to detail and ensuring I knew how they use card or their membership card for payment was second to none. He made sure that everything was okay and when I went to grab a coffee he kept an eye on my laundry. Great service and would highly recommend especially if you’re in LA for a few weeks with work as I am.
