Kombu Sushi

My first time eating here while visiting family. Sat out in the back porch area which was lovely. Food was excellent, probably the best miso soup I’ve ever had. A really extensive menu, so something for everyone. They were super accommodating for our group regarding certain foods and checking on if dishes contained them. Fantastic wait service.

Lovely food and service! Our server was Soko and she was very fast and attentive. The music and atmosphere was great, will definitely be coming back with friends, also loved the patio area with a Photo Booth!!

Had a great Sunday night dinner with the homies. The food was delicious and the house Sake was pretty good. The service was also amazing shoutout to our server Athena she was so sweet and hospitable. We’re definitely coming back again!

Oh my gosh! This is one of my husband and my favorite restaurants! Great, fresh, sushi that always hit the spot. Soko is an amazing waitress and everyone who works there is friendly and fun. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

We came in for lunch and was greeted by Nabor and seated. Menu was offered and drink order was taken immediately. We had iced green tea which was very refreshing. We ordered a salad to share and some rolls. Thank you Nabor for the great congratulation and thank you for your kind wishes for my son.

Lovely place! Went for lunch and got 1 bento box and a few vegan sushi rolls. The miso soup and veggies in the bento box were delicious and fresh, and the vegan sushi rolls were great! Partner said that the chicken katsu was fluffy and had the crispiest breading ever! Super happy and loved hearing about Kombu’s story and seeing all the cute dogs! Will definitely recommend this place in this future

Casual sushi spot about half mile from Little Tokyo train spot. Good selection and prompt service. Kara age was solid, but gyoza was more fried where I am more of a pan seared fan. Tofu was also solid and rolls were all very fresh. Felt prices were reasonable for high quality.

My favorite spicy tuna crispy rice in LA! Great vibes and lovely people at Kombu, paired with reasonably priced food and drink make for a lovely silverlake evening :)
