Coming from Poland, I have to say this straight: no bagel back home even comes close to what they’re doing here. They are absolutely insane with these bagels—this was the best breakfast I’ve had in my entire life! We ordered the classic salmon bagel and the Fresh Garden one. The bagel itself is an absolute masterpiece—perfectly thin, with an incredible, deep crunch on the outside, yet beautifully soft and moist on the inside. The depth of flavor, the perfect balance of seasonings, and the unbelievably fresh toppings are unmatched. The texture and structure of this dough completely blew me away. Eating here is a culinary experience on another level. We will 100% be back!

I just needed to say that these are the best bagels I've ever had, so nothing else matters. Absolutely delicious. My favorite one was the Cheddar-Tomato. It is incredible: simple, delicious. I regret not getting all the flavors tbh. The crisp on the bagel was surprising in a bagel. If I lived in LA I would visit them all the time.

This is one of the best bagels I've ever had; very fresh and tasty!! Crispy and chewy!! This is my regular stop when I'm driving out to LA, today, i had half of the smoked salmon on everything bagel and other half with sliced heirloom tomatoes!! Both equally delicious!! The other time, I had the mini Everything bagel with cream cheese ($3.50) and mexican hot cocoa with cinnamon & spices (they have 2 sizes; 4oz for $4 and 8oz for $8) w/whipped cream topping!! Line moved quick today!! I was very lucky to find street parking today nearby!! Highly recommended!! 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟stars for delicious bagels and good service!! Come and try them out!! Wait under a shade!! Don't forget that they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!!

The best bagel I’ve ever had easily. It’s moist and crunchy yet chewy. I got the cream cheese tomato and it was perfect. The olive oil and lemon made it so good. It is definitely pricey but I would pay it again.

Courage Bagels is one of those places that quietly ruins other bagels for you, and I mean that as the highest compliment. I usually order the salmon bagel, and it is consistently excellent. The bagel itself has real character. Dense but not heavy, chewy in the right way, with that subtle sweetness and crackle you get from a Montreal style bagel that has been boiled in honeyed water and baked in a wood fired oven. You can taste the process. This is not a bagel that comes out of a machine and disappears two minutes later. The recipes are thoughtful and confident. Nothing feels fussy or over engineered. The salmon is high quality, the balance of cream cheese, capers, onion, and herbs is dialed in, and every bite feels intentional. It eats like someone obsessed over it and then stopped at exactly the right moment. The coffee is also excellent, which matters more than people admit. It stands on its own and pairs well with the richness of the bagels rather than trying to compete. Service has always been friendly and efficient, even when they are clearly slammed. I went early this time and for the first time there was not a massive line, which felt almost surreal. That said, this is the exception, not the rule. The line moves quickly, but if you go on a weekend, plan on waiting. One caveat, and it is worth saying out loud. This place is pricey. My salmon bagel rang in at $23. That is not nothing. You are paying for quality ingredients, craft, and a very specific point of view. For me, it is still worth it, but it is not an everyday stop unless your bagel budget is generous. Courage Bagels delivers a focused, distinctive experience that feels both grounded and special. Five stars, even with the sticker shock.

Got in line around 10:30 and got our bagels within 30 mins which is pretty standard for Courage bagels! We tried so many different bagels and drinks, can’t recommend trying anything bc it’s delicious! Cute seating on the sidewalk- better grab a seat as soon as you see it open or else you’ll be standing and eating.

We came on a Saturday around noon and the line really wasn’t bad at all. I was expecting way worse. You order at the window, super easy. There’s no indoor seating, just some tables off to the side. I can already tell it probably gets pretty warm out there in the summer. I ordered the Hottie, it comes with butter, and I added honey on a sesame bagel. When I tell you it was so good… fresh out of the oven, warm, soft, perfect. If I had even a little more room left, I’d be back in line for another one. But I’m officially full. My friend got a fully loaded bagel, I believe it’s called Run it to the Garden, she loved it but she wanted a little more olive oil. Any time I’m close, I want to be sure I stop by.

Courage Bagels is BY FAR the best bagel I’ve ever had. The bagels are light with a delightfully crispy edge while maintaining the perfect soft chewy center. A whole bagel is plenty to split with someone, which is what my husband and I do, and we add a regular toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese that we also split as well, which gives us the perfect amount to feel full. Pictured is the Hand Cut Salmon on an everything bagel, which is full of flavor and leaves you satiated yet wanting more. 10/10 recommend.
