Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

I’m not a religious person, but I visited the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels purely to appreciate it as art and architecture, and it truly moved me. The soft light, the modern lines, and the quiet openness create a peaceful atmosphere that anyone can feel. The building itself is thoughtful, sculptural, and full of subtle beauty. It’s a serene place where design, space, and calm come together in a way that stays with you.

This is a beautiful church with a huge lot. It is super clean and modern. It's a handicap friendly facility w plenty of handicapped parking spots and pathways for wheelchairs. The parking structure is underground and pretty safe. There are also elevators if needed.

What am absolute perfect cathedral. I want to say the mass we attended was great. The prettiest even took the time to sign my child's mass attendance sheet. Very approachable father. I will say I'm happy I arrived early as the parking is difficult if you can find street parking nearby good for you I went into the maze of the underground parking and wow. Made it to mass just in the nick of time. They have a small chapel in the bottom and the gift shop and cafeteria were top tier. I also like the kids garden area. A great idea for the little ones.

The staff and volunteers are welcoming and respectful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended. This is a place you’ll want to return to.

First time attending Services here. It's Beautiful first of all!! Nice atmosphere, go to Mass First. Then go have lunch, shop at their shops (Wasn't open on Jan 1st,2026) But the set-up is shows a nice quiet, spiritual day to have to youself or with someone who is aligned with the faith.

This place is amazing. Beautiful and marvelous. Check the underground and thank me later. You’ll be surprise on what you gonna see down there. Parking is free during mass hours. Check out the courtyard, fountain and the bell tower. Plenty of sitting space inside and out. There’s also a gift shop and cafe.

We recently visited the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, and I honestly don’t have enough words to capture how beautiful this place is. From the moment we walked in, there was such a deep sense of peace and reverence. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking—soaring ceilings, stunning stained glass, incredible artwork, and details everywhere you look. I was especially moved by the historic pieces throughout the cathedral, including the beautiful chapel, mosaics, and preserved altar. Even the courtyard and surrounding grounds felt serene and thoughtfully designed. Beyond its beauty, what made this experience so special was the feeling inside the cathedral. Despite being such a grand space, it felt incredibly warm, welcoming, and sacred. Whether you visit for Mass, prayer, or simply to admire the architecture, this is truly a place that leaves a lasting impression. Such a wonderful and memorable experience. I would absolutely recommend visiting if you’re ever in Los Angeles 💛
