Beautiful spot! Service was impressive. Everyone was friendly. Valet service when you drive in. I had the albondigas and my husband had the chicken enchiladas. Delicious. I asked for spicy salsa and Sergio our server brought me salsa Brava. Omg. So perfect. Just the heat I needed. You must try if passing through. You won't be disappointed. Observed lots of locals coming in. We will be back!

Best words to describe this restaurant is could have should have been. It has all the right ingredients to be a 4- 4-1/2 star experience. The food is good, not great but headed in the right direction. Due to its price I surely expect a bit more of flavor. When you order you get a choice of a salad or soup, the waiter brought albondigas. The broth was 7/10 but the meat was a 3/10. The enchiladas were good. 8/10 what blew my mind was the cucumber/lemon agua Fresca 10/10 wow factor. I recommend the patio setting, and perfect for a romantic evening. Unfortunately, the waitstaff was too busy and too way too long after we finished our meal. I will say, he did go above and beyond with allowing me to take my beverage home in a To- go cup.
What a fabulous place to meet friends, imbibe a little and enjoy some great eats. All on a sun-filled patio with umbrellas, and table tops for two or a party of lively folks. Under the same management for over 30 years, this restaurant is a real treasure. Wait staff are super friendly and accommodating too!
We love Casita! The food is nothing super special in terms of LA Mexican food, but the ambiance is perfect, and the salsa is my favorite basic restaurant salsa around. Great for kids, a date, a group, whatever! Service is always super friendly and attentive. There is a room with TVs that never gets too crowded, so it’s also a sleeper place to watch a game with a meal :)
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing—not because of a pricing misunderstanding, but because of how we were treated afterward. My sister and I noticed that the price of our margarita pitcher on the check was higher than the price listed on the menu. We later realized it was because we had ordered a different margarita kind, although it would have been helpful if the staff had mentioned that beforehand since the menu pricing wasn’t clear at all. When we asked if anything could be done about the confusion, the response we received was completely inappropriate. A staff member asked my sister if she was pregnant and asked me if I was married. Neither question had anything to do with our concern. We were left confused and uncomfortable, and the comments came across as dismissive and sexist. A few moments before in the evening, there were also several men being very forward toward us. At the time, we genuinely believed they were waiters or otherwise connected to the restaurant, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. We later realized they were other customers, but the fact that we couldn’t tell the difference speaks to the atmosphere. As two women speaking Spanish in the restaurant— with the staff and all— we felt especially vulnerable and unsupported. When we brought the inappropriate comments to the manager’s attention, he blamed us for not reporting the issue sooner rather than acknowledging how unprofessional the interaction had been. The whole experience left us feeling like our concerns were being minimized, and honestly, it felt like we were not being treated with the same respect or care that English-speaking white women probably would have received. Pricing misunderstandings happen, and we would have accepted a simple explanation. What made this experience so upsetting was not the bill itself, but the way our concerns were handled. Instead of being treated with respect, we were met with irrelevant misogynistic behaviors, an uncomfortable atmosphere, and a manager who dismissed our concerns. I hope the restaurant takes customer service, guest safety, and the respectful treatment of Spanish-speaking women more seriously. Don’t come here, $200 for a margarita pitcher is ridiculous.
Came here to spoil myself and the family after a much needed vacation. We were welcomed warmly and immediately attended and served, wait time was minimal and the food was incredible. My Spouse and i left pleasantly surprised. It is a little pricey albeit, but i can take that into consideration due to inflation everywhere and the location. A solid experience. The Cheese Enchiladas were Superb
Our favorite go-to place for drinks and dinner after a full day of volunteering at our 3rd Friday food distribution. It's a large space with multiple rooms for dining, including two outdoor spaces. The mosaic tile tables are one-of-a-kind works of art. I've been told that they are the creation of one of the owners. The atmosphere at Casita is welcoming with friendly staff who we have known for years.
We had high hopes based on the reviews, but we’re not sure we’d return for the food, it wasn’t bad, just lacked flavour. However, we LOVED the spicy margaritas and the chips with salsa (many different spice ranges) and guac! We’d definitely come back for drinks and appetizers.
