Visitor notes
Hidden gem! Ambiance is amazing. They don't have food BUT they have a good truck outside and let you bring in food from anywhere or order food and have it dropped off. They have pool tables and plenty of different seating. Music is great is your into 90's maybe early 2,000's music Rock Alt. Acoustics are great too you can still carry a conversation. It is a brewery so only beer options but they do have two seltzer drinks. I had a berry frozen seltzer it was really good.
Boomtown is always a vibe ! They have a good variety of beer choices and usually have food vendors that do not disappoint! The only thing is on special events it can get very crowded and their restrooms are so small. On game days it can be impossible to get a drink, but the beer tenders try their best it really is just that busy. A recommendation for the business would be maybe more screens.
Came to Boomtown Brewery after a group run with my running club and two other LA run crews, and it was such a fun experience! The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe spacious, industrial style, and super inviting. It got busy, but the staff handled it well and were friendly the whole time. I don’t drink, but my friends all grabbed beers and kept saying how good they were (they’re definitely known for their craft beers). Everyone was happy, which says a lot! I just enjoyed the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd. There’s plenty of seating, clean bathrooms (always important), and even a separate room with a stage, so it looks like they host live music and events too. Big plus: it feels like a great spot to hang out after a run or meet up with friends. I’ve also heard they often have food trucks, which makes it even better. Overall, great vibes, good service, and a fun place to unwind. Would definitely come back with the group
Outstanding Beers!!! Chavez Ravine & Bad Hombre was everyone's favourite!! Man this place is awesome! They had A stray gato walking around lol.
Been coming to Boomtown for so long it feels like a 2nd home. They regularly come out with good beers and have some solid go-to's on tap. The bartenders are great and know their beer so please ask them for recommendations if you're wondering what beer to try. Also great that they are one of the last places in DTLA with true street parking on evenings and weekends (but it does get snatched up during big events so plan accordingly!). Lastly, their events and watch parties are where it's at. I've watched world series games, world cup games, Olympics.. everything here and always fun. Free karaoke on Fridays!!
Great staff, good beer, cool location. If you drive, usually decent amount of street parking around. Not far from metro.
I had a great time hanging out at this spot because it has such a cool, open feel with plenty of room to relax. The selection of drinks is impressive, and everything I tried was super fresh and full of flavor. I really liked the fun atmosphere with the games and local art on the walls, which makes it a perfect place to chill with friends. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out something I really enjoyed. It is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon if you want a laid-back environment with a great local vibe.
