Beachwood Cafe Hollywood

The food is always great here. My chillaquiles went perfectly with their red ale. We also had their burger, French toast, steak wrap, matcha, and Bellini. We also love the old Hollywood hills location. Great service, just be patient with parking.

First time trying this place. Everything was really good. Ordered a matcha raspberry my favorite thing for ever matcha, scrambled eggs with carnitas,lemon ricotta pancakes and chilaquiles with carnitas. Definitely coming back again.

I’ve lived in the area for 29 years and had never heard of this café, even is close to the Hollywood sign. My waitress was kind, but the service was extremely slow. It was so slow that I ordered a coffee, finished my entire breakfast, and still had to cancel it because it never arrived. At one point I was choking and got up to ask for a glass of water. I asked another server, and he looked at me with an attitude and asked, “Are you eating here?” That didn’t feel right. I ended up going back to my waitress to ask for water. After that, I could see staff looking over at me and talking, which made me uncomfortable. The food was okay. I ordered a dish with beans and it was flavorful. However, the waffles were terrible burnt, hard, and tasteless. Also, I don’t understand why there’s an expectation of a 22% or higher tip for a simple breakfast, especially with this level of service.

A perfect place for breakfast after a hike in the Hollywood hills! It's a charming little spot and the food was delicious. The breakfast burrito was tasty and so were the lemon pancakes! Be prepared to wait a bit if you go during peak hours.

Despite having lived in LA for many years, this was my first time at this cafe. Luckily the hosts had been there before and told me where to park and got there early enough to grab a table for us since we were a group of 5 and despite it being a weekday brunch it was still very busy. I really loved my eggs benedict - perfectly poached and the salmon was very fresh. Of course you can't beat the view outside the cafe of the Hollywood Sign. The wait staff was very accommodating with our staggered arrivals and the fact that we kept deciding to order more food because it was so tasty and we decided to also have dessert and tea after our entrees.

This was our starting point to walk the Beachwood Canyon stairs, we needed a coffee and breakfast first. Friendly service, quaint dinner style cafe Atmosphere. I highly recommend the 2 eggs with the spicy chicken sausage, delicious.

They’re known for their burgers which my mother in law and husband ordered. They were beyond delicious. I opted for simple breakfast. Everything was prepared wonderfully. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed but upscale. Pricing was typical for LA area.

Nice little cafe. Probably once a local gem that got exposed cuz that Harry Styles song and now is hella busy all the time. Iced latte was delicious. The eggs benedict was ok-the eggs were way overcooked and more like hard boiled rather than runny. The side potatoes were amazing tho. I sat at the bar so my server really only took my order and then got the check for me but listening to the girls talk to each other it seemed like a good vibe. Overall I think I’ll be back and try a different dish. Parking is tough if you’re driving.
