Sweetleaf Coffee & Cocktail Bar

Unreal LIC spot, recently revamped the place under new management and it is amazing. Manny was a great bartender, a top 5 espresso martini. Matchas return is also a great drink and the presentation was really nice. Overall good people and cool vibes.

It’s located in a good spot that’s very close to the shore in LIC. Overall, I’m not super impressed with the food quality. We ordered breakfast burritos, OG breakfast sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. They all tasted pretty standard, nothing super impressive. That being said the service was very nice and we enjoyed our drinks. My rating is between 3 and 3.5.

Best coffee in the neighborhood! Great cozy vibe and you can get a real cup instead of that microplastic stuff. Also a good brunch menu.

The avocado toast was much better than I had expected. It was rather simple compared to other places, but an excellent combo of flavors and an almost perfect amount of crunch on the toast made for a fabulous meal. The two sunny side up eggs were extra for $3 and were delicious as well. Overall I had presumed the food to be closer 3 ⭐, at best 4 ⭐, but I'm going with 5 ⭐

There is something so special about walking in and knowing you're going to get an exceptional cup of coffee served with a genuine smile. This place is an absolute gem in the neighborhood. Astor and Mei are wonderful. Warm, efficient, and always a pleasure to interact with. And their manager deserves a special shoutout for clearly building a team that runs like clockwork. The service here is super quick without ever feeling rushed, and no matter how busy it gets, the staff are always patient and attentive. What really says everything about Sweetleaf, though, was the storm. When the whole neighborhood shut down, Sweetleaf was the only place that stayed open and kept the coffee coming. That kind of dedication to the community is rare and it did not go unnoticed. I also want to acknowledge something that not every café handles well — the occasional rude customer. We've all seen it. Astor, Mei, and the team handle these moments with remarkable grace and patience, never letting it affect the experience for everyone else. That's professionalism at its finest.

During my stay at my friend's place in Long Island City, she recommended Sweetleaf for coffee, and I’m so glad she did! The design of the café is charming and inviting, making it a great spot to relax. I especially loved the spacious outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee on a nice day. Not only do they serve excellent coffee, but they also have a selection of cocktails and food that looks tempting. It’s a fantastic place to unwind with friends or just enjoy some time to yourself. I highly recommend checking out Sweetleaf if you’re in the area!

First time stopping by and I am in love with the atmosphere! I got a maple leaf latte to go and am so excited to go back and have something to stay. The latte is so delicious and perfect

What a great coffee shop. Elegant and cozy. The staff was great, the coffee was top notch and the chocolate chip scone was delicious. The location is really beautiful, being near the Manhattan skyline views and LIC Pepsi-Cola area. Go see them and chill there. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya
