Dairy Star Ice Cream of Lincolnwood

I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Our favorite is the fresh banana milkshake. Today I tried a root beer float. As a therapist, their sign today made me laugh. This therapy definitely recommends! 😉

Ice cream was delicious. I had Reese’s blitz and the wife has strawberry sundae. Best soft serve we’ve had in forever. Amazing family owned spot that’s a Chicago classic. Staff were super friendly and lots of great seats outside and parking in the back. Will definitely be back!

We love Dairy Star! It’s been a family favorite for years now. I love that they have gluten free cones and my friends who can’t do dairy can have their vegan soft serve. Something for everyone, unless you’re a hater. 🙃

ice cream is great. I love their yellow light. Lot of people go there. Once I saw a very big line and had to come back without ice cream. I think it’s usually weekends. A great place. would recommend!

Me and my friends tried the top 2 sundaes. We loved the brownie. The turtle was also good.l but brownie tops it. The prices are on the higher side so better to try 1 at a time if its just a couple of friends as 2 sundaes are too much to eat. They have good outdoor seating but limited seats and on good weather days its packed so be ready to wait in lines. They are also kosher certified as informed by one of the employee.Overall a very good experience so do check them out for sure. 4.5/5

I’ve been coming here since 35 years. Now my grand kids are coming. My mom, my dad, and all my family I wish they were here. I just want to say I wish the owner would sell me the business I love it! Gipsy girl number one fan.

Overpriced soft serve ice cream. Paid $19 for a regular vanilla cone and a fancy sundae. Nice seating area outside. Loved the caramel fudge on my ice cream. Lines were long but turnover was fast

Local go-to ice cream joint on Devon Avenue for decades. A great old fashioned hangout for children. Soft serve ice cream can be had with variety dipping options. Also have wide array of sundaes. They finally began accepting credit cards but costs more than using cash. This place is not cheap but I’d like to think that what you pay for is more than just ice cream but also old-time atmosphere. It is a perfect place to visit on a hot summer night.
