What a great location!! First time here and absolutely loved the vibe/atmosphere here. Very fun and welcoming! Our server Dara was the best server we had encountered in YEARS!! Her attention to detail, and customer satisfaction was 5 tier. The food was good, but nothing stood out. Cobb salad was on greens .vs romaine was sparce. Husband had the chicken sandwich which was tasty, but not proportionate. My friends burger was good perfect, but cold, so we're the fries. Cook staff could do better. We will be back because I loved the space and location. It has promise, just needs a boost in the kitchen
We had lunch at Ski Beach on 4/3 & had a beautiful view from our waterside table. The inside decor is really attractive as well! I had a caesar salad with salmon on the side. The salmon was amazing but the salad was average (lettuce could have been a bit fresher) but loved the shaved parmesan. B really enjoyed his gumbo & muffuletta! I had the Tiki Rita & we appreciated that the cocktails were full size & yummy! Highly recommend Ski Beach!
Waterfront dining added to the fun atmosphere of Ski Beach bar and Grill. Views of the lake from both inside and on the deck give options for people who enjoy the weather, or not. The menu was extensive and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend the fried oysters! They also have lots of fun cocktails that add to the vacation vibe. The mahi mahi I ordered was a little small and dry, but the manager visited with us personally and made it right. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
We had a lovely lunch Dara was our server and she was,exceptional. She got drinks right away. Our food order was correct for all four of us. Our cocktails were tasty. My friend had the grilled Chicken Cobb salad see pic. I had the Smokehouse BBQ Burger with fries. My husband had the regular cheeseburger with fries. Our other friend had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. We had beer , Wine and Gator juice a specialty drink. Dara, came back several times to see if we needed refills or other items. The place is clean and beautiful setting on a lake with dockside drive up for your boat. Which is how we found the place. Everything looked delicious. The price point was standard for you get. However nowhere on the menu do they tell you that the fries are pre-seasoned so take that into consideration if you like fries with no seasoning. My Smokehouse Burger was actually cold which was a disappointment but it was cooked medium the way I like it so I did eat it. I think this place is fantastic I think I will give it another try and we'll see what happens.
First time here and enjoyed it. Food was really good had the salmon with rice and broccoli. Macaroni was also delicious. Had their 45 oz mixed drink and can say they make them really well and worth it. Wish we could have sat outside on the dock but the hostess said all empty tables were accounted for, but stayed empty the entire time we dined in so who knows, wont let one worker skew a great review. They had a little issue with one of our orders as it came out way latter then the rest of the plates but manager comped it without any say by us which was really nice. Views were nice decor was cool. Even saw a live alligator over the ropes.
Great place to spend a weekend—whether with friends, family, or even by yourself. We arrived by boat, which made the experience even more special. There was an amazing car and boat show happening, so we got to enjoy not only great food but also live music and a fun, lively atmosphere. Definitely a place worth visiting!
It was my first time with a friend. We did not get to enjoy the view because it was raining so bad.
We did not have a reservation and we got seated as soon as we walked in.
The food was delicious, service was real good and quick too. We definitely will be back.
I live in the area so I go here often. The food has always been very good, this is why I picked this restaurant for my mother‘s 85th birthday. I’d like to say in advance that the server was lovely and she did her best to accommodate our needs. You’ll understand why when I tell you the details .
My brother called two months in advance to reserve the locker room for 15 people. He spoke to the kitchen manager because he wanted to assure that he could get a vegan burger if we booked the reservation. We selected this restaurant because they were able to say yes we can order vegan burgers and have them here for you so we made the reservation.
Now mind you I Called two days before the event and said we have 20 people and I need to make sure that you have three vegan burgers put aside for my company.
When my family got to the restaurant to wait for us to arrive to surprise, my mother, none of the tables were set up in advance. They were all over the room instead of together they were not prepared for us at all, and when we started placing the order guess what, no vegan burgers. Now I love the restaurant. Food is always good, but I have to say I was very disappointed in the fact that they lied to me and I don’t like that, I think that’s wrong and there was a lot of misinformation and it’s kind of turned me off for the restaurant. I have to be honest. And again I live in the area.
In addition, I brought my own cake and it no time did anyone tell me to bring plates and forks for this event. There was so much misinformation and not provided to us. They did not charge us for the plates or the forks but they acted like we should have known this. Well, I follow directions pretty good and if someone had told me that that’s what I needed to do we would have. Your customers are not stupid. We’re pretty smart, smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong.
I go there at least once a A few times a month sometimes more and I gotta be honest. I don’t know that that’s gonna happen. I do not like the way they managed this reservation at all so be alert if you ask for special requests you probably won’t get it when you get there they’ll tell you yes they’re prepared for you and then when you get there, they don’t have what you need so I’m not normally bougie but this was a big turn off. Shame on your team and your management and your kitchen manager for deceiving us and not being truthful, especially when I called two days in advance. Shame on you.
