Lightfoot Restaurant

Had dinner here on a cold Saturday night. The decor is very nice, a converted bank. The drinks were very good and strong. Our server was accommodating and not rushing our meal as many places tend to do on crowded nights. We ended up “closing “ the restaurant and gripe from the management. Even offering drink to the ladies as gents went to get the vehicles. The good was a delight. Oyster batter was very light, crab cake with very little filler, schnitzel made with very large chicken breast. No dish we had disappointed. This is a nice find in Leesburg. We will definitely be back and recommend the restaurant.

Ingrid, the staff, the old bank and art work, the swanky music, the food is fresh and ordered by the Chef Ingrid who is always in the kitchen and puts her special touch on every plate. If you have a special request she loves to accommodate. Brunch specials are amazing. Also have an amazing venue upstairs for small, medium and large size events, Carrie has you covered. Cant say enough. Love this special historical place the two sister make it extra special.

What a unique and memorable experience! This restaurant is set inside a beautifully restored old bank, and the atmosphere is just incredible—full of character and charm. You can still see original features like the vault, which adds a fun and historic touch. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with a bit of history on the side. Highly recommend checking it out!

It's a restaurant that restored the old bank a long time ago, so the atmosphere and interior are really beautiful and Elegant. The better than Maryland crab soup was really delicious. The wine was also attractive. But the fillet mignon steak was too dry and tasteless. The fried oysters were too thick and the seasoning was too strong, What is worse the liver itself was not tasty. The oysters inside were not moist either. The interior is very beautiful, the crab soup was delicious, but it's a pity that the main menu is not delicious.

We enjoyed our dinner so much here! It was absolutely delicious and our experience with the staff was lovely from start to finish. The place feels slightly dusty and the food tasted good but not what I expected for the price. Overall it was a nice experience

First time in Leesburg, VA. My contractor recommended the Lightfoot restaurant. We came at 3pm and walking into the building was an amazing experience to the eye. The food was truly amazing in taste, freshness, and presentation on point. The wife and I will be back for more.

We have been coming countless times to enjoy the Lightfoot Restaurant for over 20+ years! They are a treasured fixture in the Leesburg dining and entertainment community and we have been absolutely delighted and pleased every single time we have come here whether it be for a wedding reception, Christmas party, anniversary, birthday, or just a lunch or dinner date with each other or family and friends! Carrie and Ingrid have made something so memorable, lasting, beautiful, and magical with this incredibly special restaurant! But it's even more than that-you are welcomed, you are cared for in the best possible ways by the delightful and professional staff, and you leave satisfied each and every single time you dine here. Their menu has delicious menu mainstays and brilliant innovations; all fabulous, all worth trying. And their drinks menu is perfection- brilliantly prepared by the amazing bar staff! If you haven't experienced the magic of Lightfoot for a special night out or a lunch with dear friends, I highly recommend it! Saturday evening - We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes. Bartender refused to acknowledge us which was disappointing - More upsetting was the tone and words he used with the female bar support staff . Rude ,disrespectful ,condescending . His interactions with the male staff was polite and respectful . We shared with the manager on duty -His response ,again disappointingly He excused his behavior by sharing he was alone tending the bar . Beautiful looking place -probably great food and drink - We left, they were unbothered.
