Wok About Mongolian Grill

We visited the restaurant for late lunch on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Given the holiday, we expected the town to be slammed, but the restaurant itself was not packed. There were plenty of people there, but it wasn't crowded, making it easy to get a table and head right up to the food line. Unfortunately, this place does not have the same positive vibe as similar Mongolian BBQ restaurants. The atmosphere felt totally off, and the employees acted like they were forced to be at work, showing zero enthusiasm or welcoming energy. The food experience didn't help lift the mood either. If you are expecting the massive spread of ingredients typical of most Mongolian BBQs, you will likely be disappointed. Compared to almost any similar Mongolian-style restaurant, the variety here is way less than what you would normally find. The ingredient bar is highly limited, and most notably, they do not offer any seafood options at all.Despite the minimal selection of meats and vegetables, the pricing is surprisingly expensive. You end up paying a premium price for a very basic stir-fry experience and poor service. The only real saving grace of the restaurant is its location on the second floor, which provides a nice, elevated view of Front Street and the mountains while you eat. However, the scenic view doesn't make up for the lack of food options and downer service. If you want a high-value meal with a wide selection of ingredients and a welcoming staff, your money is better spent elsewhere in town.

we were right around christmas and atmosphere was amazing. took bowls and ordered ribs to try out. quantity was great but it was over burnt outside not fully cooked inside. when provided feedback to server, she said it was already cooked and they glazed it only 🥺😢

I'm becoming a regular! The staff and bartenders are really great, the food is fantastic and with huge portions, and the views of the surrounding hills are the best.

Wow! Amazing food! Interesting atmosphere where you choose all your ingredients for a stir fry and then watch the young men cook it on a big grill. Was truly delicious. Also had the Mongolian bbq ribs. Fabulous!!!

THEY ARE STEALING FROM PEOPLE We were there on Saturday 1/31/26 I asked for the tab, and they SNEAKED in a 15% “service charge” for what? Service was not good, food is not good, half way cooked, and is way overpriced! They bring to tickets to your table, one showing the 15% service charge which the cover with the second ticket where you have to sign, which also has an extra line for tips!!! And it worked as I did not noticed until I got home. That’s just bad business!! You don’t have to steal money from people you charge a lot for your food. I will never come back and I will tell us many people as I can how you conduct business, I am uploading a picture with the bail show in the 15% service charge for everybody to see.

Leavenworth local here. For my son’s birthday dinner he chose the Wok. Always a family favorite! Just so expensive! Wasn’t expecting $160 for a table of 4.(myself and 3 kids) We made our own stir fry and tipped the cook. Our server brought us 4 drinks then the bill including almost $20 auto gratuity. For bringing 4 drinks. Wild.

This place was top tier especially being one of the few open on Xmas day.. After we got seated in the bar this place was packed our waiter was fantastic and on top of things. The food was amazing we had the Mongolian tacos ugh delicious and the sesame cucumbers for an app but the edamame definitely stole the show on apps! Overall for literally wall to wall seating the atmosphere was great the food was great and the service was absolutely amazing!

They have a great variety of things to add to your plate. There’s freedom to choose your portion size and the type of sauces and spice level you want. The food tasted great, was well-cooked. The ambiance was also nice. Outdoor seating in April sun was awesome. We’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in Leavenworth.
