A little biased bc we lived very close to it but this park is great for our needs. They also have a lot of events up here, (holiday in the park) Soul Freak café on site which has a drawing room for the kids, patio area, coffee and snacks, train tracks close by, b ball, water fountain, gazebo, great place for family photos. Overall just a great area.
I feel only Fair to explain. I have visited Parks and playgrounds all around the US as a parent of 7 kids parks are a big deal to us and so the 3 I give this park is an US parks overall rating so As Cute and Well planned as this park is it still respectfully only gets a three star. This Park is also good Location For Photos Especially Senior Portraits.
League Park is League City's hidden treasure. The park has a turn-of-the-century theme. League City plans a number of events throughout the year here. A number of vendors come out for those events. We love taking photos and short videos here. The best place to start taking photos is an hour before the sunset. The flower gardens, gazebo, trees, and the train make an awesome background. Since the park is well maintained, the background always looks nice. You have to check it out for yourself!
Always a great park to bring the children to play on the playground and basketball courts.
Beautiful park with activities for the whole family year round!
The kids had a good time. They wished the one bigger kid swing was higher. I thought it was neat there's a coffee shop here and another ship nearby that does smoothies and stuff.
Quaint little park in the historic district we took our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a blast surrounded by trees so plenty of shade to enjoy.Across the street is Founders square and opposite it is Main St. Bistro inside the park that had the cutest coffee shop Soulfreak Railway Cafe. Great stop for those early morning outing with the little ones without dealing with a crowd.
My husband and I took a day trip and ended up here. It's a lovely park with gorgeous old oak trees, beautiful flowers, a fountain, and a playground for kids.
