Danzeisen Dairy - Creamery Store - Laveen

My experience started before I visited today (3/28/26). I was searching for a specific bottle design (Route 66). They distribute to a couple of grocery chains in Arizona, but I was having no luck funding what I was looking for. I emailed the customer service department, and I was surprised to get a prompt response. They told me they didn't track where the bottle designs went or what flavor they might be. But, he said he would try to find any leftover bottles in their production area. I then actually found the bottles at a sprout's..Root Beer flavored milk, which is delicious. Then I checked my email and they had found some bottles and if I wanted to come out to their store, he would have them on his desk. I made the 40 minute drive to their dairy and the bottles were there, waiting for me! They have a real nice store where locals were returning their glass bottles to get the deposit back and walking out with fresh milk and juices. They have an antique milk truck inside along with tables and an area for butter making classes. Anyways I found a pint route 66 bottle of strawberry milk, which I bought, along with a thick tasty chocolate shake, along with the requested bottles. It's not too far from downtown Phoenix and a quick hop off of a relatively new freeway. And it is well worth a stop. The employees are friendly and I want to give a huge shout-out to Mitch for going the extra mile to help me out!

Went to try as I heard great reviews. Fell a little flat. When asked if our order was for here or to go, we opted for there. Well, to pay more almost 2x the amount for an ice cream bar is ridiculous. Nothing like the pics they presented. I'm always about supporting local businesses, but not sure if its worth the drive. Customer service....eh.

Great experience first ever visit been here for over twenty years anywho nice staff . Busy during my visit but it was in spurts people came and went some were seasoned : carrying their milk in crates it was cool to see the nostalgia happening here. Ordered $57.00 worth of food and product . Will revisit for credit for my return from milk purchased from local grocery store.

What a gem I plan on coming back for their butter churning classes. All their natural locally sourced produce is something you can truly taste in its careful craft. From their buttery milkshakes and fun toppings, to their fresh scoops and unique flavored milkshake jugs this place takes the cake for all milk and creamery shops. The atmosphere is so nostalgic and the customer service is on point.

Thanks to the Instagram account I cannot remember, I get to try out this dairy in the middle of nowhere in Laveen. Conveniently located near the 202, I had no choice (lolll!!!) but to make a stop on the way home after a long tough day at work. It was only Monday, so I wanted something sweet to heal my heart, mind, and soul. Love the accommodations (I asked for my shake half dine-in, half to-go) and the staff members were so patient with me when I was deciding what to get. Not looking forward to the next rough work day, but would love to come back soon for some sweet pick-me-up!!

They have good quality products, if you had purchased from this sure before, didn't further to bring your glass bottles to save $2 when buying beverages. Ice cream is very yummy! What recent tried the affogato and was great!

Danzeisen Dairy is amazing and delicious. The staff are very helpful, including Noah and Luke!! They were super friendly and handled the rush-hour traffic like kings. I highly recommend this ice cream stop.

Great flavors + fun local dairy stop (with one small hiccup) We had a really fun visit to Danzeisen Dairy, and overall I left impressed — especially with the Caramel Stacked Shake. The flavor was excellent: rich, smooth, and genuinely indulgent without being overly sweet. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the shake definitely lived up to the hype in terms of taste. The only downside was timing — we arrived about 15 minutes before closing, and apparently that automatically shifts orders to to-go only. Totally understandable from an operations standpoint, but the to-go presentation didn’t match what was shown on the screen, which was a little disappointing. For $11, it ended up feeling a bit underwhelming in terms of the final product’s “wow” factor. That said, the experience was still a win overall. We loved being able to grab chocolate milk and cold brew in the old glass bottles to take home — such a classic touch and a great bonus that made the trip feel even more worth it. Great flavors, fun atmosphere, and a solid local treat — I’d definitely come back (just earlier next time).
