The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas is absolutely worth the stop. The level of detail in the exhibits is next level, with a perfect mix of history, storytelling, artifacts, and immersive displays that make the whole experience feel alive. What really stood out was the staff. They were encyclopedia knowledgeable, genuinely engaging, and clearly passionate about the history they were sharing. Every question seemed to unlock another great story. The distillery tour and moonshine tasting were the perfect finish. Fun, unique, and a little unexpected in the best way. If you’re in Vegas and want something beyond the usual Strip experience, the Mob Museum is a must-see.

This is a very well put together museum, it is the former courthouse and post office. You start on the 3rd floor and you work your way down to the 1st floor. There are elevators and stairs and I did see at least one wheelchair (I'm assuming it's available for visitors, maybe call ahead to make sure). There are plenty of restrooms. Definitely check this museum out if you have an interest in the Mob and/or the history of Vegas.

Don’t miss this excellent museum/speakeasy/distillery combo. The mob museum is top quality across 3 main floor. Guest speakers and plenty of extra events you can purchase. This is all mob history from Europe to the US. It also includes a section on movies with many details on the facts v fiction of each. Guarantee you will learn something surprising regardless of your knowledge level on the subject. Amazing gift shop. The speakeasy is in the basement with the distillery. Get the password for the week from the website and walk around the east side of the building and go down the stairs be whiskey barrel, ring the buzzer and give the password when the slide the peephole back. More fun than just walking down the steps inside. But make sure when you leave to take the inside stairs up to see additional information on prohibition. Very good old fashioned and other drinks, all expertly made. Good small platters for the hungry. Have a bathtub drink before you leave. The distillery also does tours with samples included.

Very informative and alot to see here. Plan on spending at least three hours to peruse all three floors; four hours of you get to catch the speaker and take in an "experience" which does cost extra. We did the crime lab and it was interesting, interactive, and they keep the group maximum to 12 which makes it nice and hands on for everyone. The staff everywhere was pleasant, kind, and eager to be helpful. Even as we left staff outside were engaging. We also went down to the speakeasy (in the basement) and had drinks and lunch ($$$). Pricey but we were glad we stopped - great atmosphere. They have their own parking lot as well which makes it easy if you're not staying within walking distance ($).

Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! So much history that shows the beginnings of the mob and why/how they came into existence. Many artifacts- all so interesting! Did the crime lab and firearm training- both really great! Loved the 2nd floor courtroom and the wall of 100 infamous mobsters! The speakeasy is also amazing.

We booked online which is a MUST!! There are three interactive options you can choose: Firearm Training Simulator, the Distillery Tasting and the Crime Lab. The Firearm Training Simulator was by far the best. We have a CCW permit which comes with classroom training but the MOB Museum simulator allows you to do video and live interactive training involving a CO2 laser replica firearm which was very realistic and informative. Sadly when we booked we didn’t know the Speakeasy was closing early due to a private event.

First time visiting any museum and this one for sure did not disappoint. The staff was welcoming, informative, and pleasant. The museum has so much to look at and read, if you like true crime this is your spot! 10/10

We loved it❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2 Thumbs Up 👍 👍 If you’re going to do one thing in Las Vegas outside of the strip—make it The Mob Museum. This was hands-down one of the best experiences I😇we’ve ever had in Las Vegas—and that’s saying something. It’s better than the best casino, better than the best buffet. It delivers something far more meaningful: a real, unfiltered look at the impact of greed and organized crime on individuals and our nation. The museum does an exceptional job capturing the mindset of the criminal world and the very real damage it caused. Every exhibit is done with a high level of excellence—thoughtful, immersive, and engaging. Around every corner, there’s a new discovery, a new story, a new perspective that pulls you deeper in. Even the gift shop surprised me—it’s not just souvenirs. You actually continue learning there. And downstairs in the speakeasy, take your time—look at the walls, the details, everything. There’s history everywhere if you slow down and take it in. The highlight of our visit? We happened to hear a live talk from Frank Calabrese Jr., who shared firsthand stories about his family’s involvement in organized crime. Incredible. But even without that, this place stands on its own—you will not be disappointed. Also, a big thank you to Director Shawn, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us truly experience everything the museum has to offer. Don’t rush this place. Explore every nook and cranny. It’s worth it 😉
