R.E. Olds Transportation Museum

A great automobile museum... Cars just before the turn of the century all the way up to the '70s and '80s A wide variety.... Two cars we can actually sit in and take our pictures in at 1900s car along with a 50s car.... So many more items Oldsmobile was tied into Peterbilt trucks lawn mowers snowblowers boats and so much more.....

A lot of cool history of not just cars but engines and production. Definitely worth a stop in if your in the area. Could take about 15 minutes but we spent about an hour admiring all the history and cool cars!

I loved learning about the history. Seeing all the cool cars was fun. The staff was super friendly. It was so cool to see the history of R. E. Olds. We learned so much about him and his family. I would recommend going here.

I really enjoyed going here with all the information about the start of Oldsmobile motor company and the start of REO. There are a couple of only 1 survivors. Also a couple of rare cars

We were looking for something to do while in the Lansing area and the museum did not disappoint. Even our 4 yr old grandson liked it!

We spent three hours in the R. E. Olds Museum—it was the highlight of our ride through Michigan. The museum has Oldsmobiles from 1887 (steam) to the early 2000s. The curators have designed a wonderful walk through the life and inventions of Mr. Olds. Perfect museum for car enthusiasts and U. S. history lovers.
