They were busy setting up for Carnival. So the seating and service was slow at first, but once we had our service going, it was excellent service! We started off with the Arancini. The rice balls were perfectly fried so the crispy rice blended with the gooey mozzarella. The four pieces were accompanied by their fresh, simple and tasty marinara. Our two entries were the PAPPARDELLE AL CINGHIALE and the PARMIGIANA DI POLLO. The cinghiale pork was not overcooked, still had a chew to it and was tossed in their marinara. The chicken in the parmigiana was crispy, but slightly overcooked, but otherwise good. In summary, it's Lake Oswego prices, but I recommend coming to Niciletta's.

FORMERLY FABULOUS We came back to dine here after being absent for a couple years and found it to be very mid. Seating in the area with the bar is super loud and our party of three struggled to carry a conversation. Our server was difficult to hear speak, not necessarily friendly, brought drinks after our appetizers arrived, and didn’t refill our water glasses unless asked. All of this would be acceptable if the food was good. Arancini- Fantastic. Best executed dish we had. Bread Plate: If they’re going to serve day+ old focaccia, they should go back to including it in your meal complimentary. I loved the garlic oil and butter served with it. Pasta noodles are fun and the bread they don’t bake in house was fresh/delicious. Caesar Salad- Ordered a large and got what I would consider a small. Very tasty, though? With housemade croutons and dressing. Pepperoni Pizza-Nothing special, but very fair price. Special Crab Ravioli- Raviolis were fabulous, but sauce/overall dish was boring and bland.

I have lived in Lake Oswego for 30 years, and this was one of the most upsetting dining experiences I’ve had. We were told we could sit at the bar in about 20 minutes while waiting for a table. Despite several empty bar stools, we were repeatedly refused and left standing, while other guests who arrived at the same time were seated at the bar. When I asked again after waiting 20–30 minutes, I was told :"You should have made a reservation" and was then told, “Maybe you should just leave and come back another time.” We stayed and had dinner, but the experience remained uncomfortable and unpleasant. What made this worse was learning afterward that this person, Courtney H. was the general manager, who later responded to my Yelp review by saying it is a “privilege” to dine at her restaurant. Courtesy and respect should not be considered a privilege. That attitude reinforces a perception of Lake Oswego as unwelcoming and elitist, which is unfortunate and unfair. Restaurants should be welcoming spaces for everyone, not places where courtesy is treated as a privilege.

Our group had dinner here a few nights ago. The Wine from Sicily was superb. We had an excellent experienced woman server. Appetizers and bread were great. My main course of Fettucine Alfredo with Scampi was good but not great as it needed more seasoning and sauce. Salty's on the Columbia version of Fettucine Alfredo is much better. Only downside was we had a number of people in our party with age or military service related hearing issues and the dining room we ate in was incredibly loud so one could only hear the person right next to you which was not ideal for a table of six with out of town family. Prices were fair.

Went to Nicoletta's last evening for about the 4th or 5th time over the last 5 years or so. Always enjoyed our meal with prior visits. Last night though, was just poor. Our waiter kept discretely trying to upsell every order and accomplished it several times over the course of the evening. The real disappointment came with the meals that were delivered. Not one of the 9 of us were even mildly satisfied. For instance, my granddaughter and I both ordered the Italian Sausage Lasagna. What we got was a shallow dish with lots of sauce over what appeared to be a single sparsely filled Ravioli and all covered by a thick layer of Mozzarella. So disappointing. The other 7 at the table had somewhat similar experiences with their less than tasty orders. Not sure if anything will ever entice me back. Sorry to lose this once top notch place. Oh, did I mention that with tip we paid over $80/pp?

The have a beautiful patio as well and offer reservations for bigger groups in an beautiful ambiance. I recommend to make reservations in advance because the place is booked!! They have a little food and gift market as well so you can take their yummy food with you and freeze it … very yummy different types of lasagna’s and other goodies! You will love it ❣️❣️

This is a very good restaurant! The dining vibe is upbeat; the al fresco dining is creative; our server, Welly, was terrific; the supporting bussers were attentive…..So why not 5 Stars for the food? The food is good! No issues; no complaints! The “but” comes from being an Italian from Boston….comparisons to what I know to be 5 Star Italian dishes. Would I go again? Absolutely! This is a well run, Italian restaurant. Not easy to do! Just go! You’ll thank me later!

Nicoletta’s is a great find, especially for a place tucked into a strip mall. It has a few distinct seating areas, from the lively marketplace/bar near the entrance to the main dining room with a view of the open kitchen, plus a quieter back patio that’s especially nice in good weather. Our family favorites are the Caprese, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Gnocchi, and Risotto. They also offer gluten-free pasta, the staff is knowledgeable and reliable, and the wine list has a solid mix of Italian and West Coast options. The live music on weekends and on some weekdays adds a fun, festive touch.
