Antigo navio da guarda costeira dos EUA, utilizado em muitas missões, inclusive no Vietnam, desativado a muitos anos, hoje serve de museum e restaurante, na minha opinião é uma visita fantástica e obrigatória para quem gosta de historia e vai visitar Key West. Você terá a oportunidade de conhecer como funcionava o navio, andar por dentro dele e conhecer como eram as coisas no navio, suas missões, cabines do comandante e marinheiros, enfermaria, refeitório e muitas outras coisas legais, recomendo muito essa visita, 1h30m é tempo mais que suficiente para concluir o tour.

USCGC Ingham (WHEC-35) is one of only two preserved Treasury-class United States Coast Guard Cutters. Originally Samuel D. Ingham, she was the fourth cutter to be named for Treasury Secretary Samuel D. Ingham. She was the most decorated vessel in the Coast Guard fleet and was the only cutter to ever be awarded two Presidential Unit Citations.

Visiting the USCGC Ingham was such a meaningful experience. The ship is beautifully preserved, and you can really feel the history the moment you step on board. The exhibits were informative without being overwhelming, and the crew and staff were incredibly kind—ready to answer questions and share stories that brought everything to life. If you appreciate military history or just love exploring something unique and educational, the USCGC Ingram is absolutely worth the stop.

It is great that they preserved this historic and highly decorated shop. The self-guided tour takes you through the ship and its like a taking a step back in time. The museum onboard tells the rich history of the ship and the brave sailors who served aboard the ship. The knowledgeable volunteers are at the ready to answer any questions you have while touring.

A great part of history.Nothing like standing on the deck of history when you visit such an amazing ship. It's a must see if you visit Key West.
