Longwood Gardens is not just a garden — it feels like walking through a living work of art. Even on a rainy day, the place was absolutely beautiful. The treehouses hidden in the forest, the peaceful wooden walkways, the massive fountains, and the colorful conservatories made every section feel different and special. What we loved most is how relaxing the entire experience feels. One moment you are walking quietly through the trees listening to the rain, and the next you are standing in front of incredible fountains and perfectly designed gardens that look almost unreal. Everything is beautifully maintained, easy to explore, and full of small details that make you stop and appreciate the moment. This is the kind of place where pictures do not fully capture how beautiful it really is. Unique, peaceful, and unforgettable. Absolutely worth visiting.

Longwood is like Disneyland for garden lovers. It is pristine and everything you see is at its peak. 1200 employees keep it in perfect condition. The 1906 restaurant is definitely a must. The fountain show was spectacular, the best I've ever seen, the sheer size is truly impressive. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous gorgeous place I loved every moment. You will get your steps in for sure, so bring some comfortable walking shoes!. This place is definitely one to keep for a date/romantic evening or just site seeing if your into fountains, flowers , tree houses and more. The café had so many options and the refreshments were available which was 10/10 for me. The fountain show was super cool I ❤️

It’s so lucky that we have such a wonderful garden near DMV area. Visited here in early May. The weather is perfect, so does the garden. And I love the variety of the plants. All the plants and flowers are well-cared and well-organized. The refreshing air in the garden made us feel so relaxed. Will definitely visit here again in fall and really look forward to different decorations in another season.

Gorgeous outstanding garden. This surpasses all expectations. Huge indoor and outdoor displays. We visited during the last week of May and it was perfect. Daytime fountain show was elegant and exciting. One of the most favorite displays of the day was the water Lilly sanctuary. Very enjoyable especially for photography. Food options offer very wide variety. From hotdog and chips to more health conscious options to fresh bountiful Korean BBQ foodie connoisseurs. There is something for everyone as far as food. I only wish the beer garden was open during the daytime but the experience was still excellent.

The walking trails are extensive and peaceful, offering plenty of space to wander and take everything in. One of the highlights was the fountain shows—stunning during the day, but absolutely magical at night when the water, lights, and music come together in a truly unforgettable display. The gardens also host musical events that add to the overall atmosphere, making each visit feel special. It’s a perfect blend of nature, art, and entertainment, and definitely worth experiencing more than once.

On behalf of my family, we wanted to say what an exquisite beautiful day we had yesterday at Longwood Gardens! From the time we entered the visitor center until the time we left, every person took care of us, was kind and thoughtful. It was a blessing of an experience to celebrate my parents 50th with you guys. The herb garden was my personal favorite. A personal thank you, at the scooter desk one of your employees Doris as well. She was beyond the best in assisting and caring for us. She made us feel like royalty & part of your family. Our waitress at 1906 restaurant was fabulous, informative, kind & understanding with allergies and sensitivities. In a time where my parents thought they couldn’t really do much, your gardens accommodations made them feel full of life. Being able to be in creation, which is all we longed for, Longwood Gardens made possible with the scooters and ease. Thank you again for everything and assisting us. It was an awesomely beautiful experience.

This entire complex is absolutely stunning! The amount of time and effort put into building and maintaining everything is astounding. Be sure to check out the two treehouses. The fountain show at 8:00 was relaxing and fun to watch. The fountain and light show started at 9:00. It was great but if you're interested in coming, it would be worth looking at the schedule to see what music will be playing, to make sure you get the experience you are looking for. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to marvel in the beauty of God's creativity in plants and enjoy the stunning Architecture that has been built here.
