Sooooo happy I finally tried this place!! It’s been on my list for sometime now! “Family, welcome home” was how I was greeted at this Farm to Table restaurant. Astor’s is a premier fine dining restaurant in Katy, offering an elevated South African tradition with Pan-African and Latin fusion experience!! I chose to dine from the Brunch Menu and it did not disappoint!! My server Jude recommended the oxtails but yall know me… it’s a hard no! However, I had the Astor’s Wing Breakfast with pancakes!! Yummm!! I also indulged in the famous Penny “Mystery” Mimosas!! Ended with a sweet treat, compliments of the Chef, Casey Castro, chef and owner, who made sure I was checked on and taken care of throughout my dining experience!! 10/10 highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our brunch experience at Astor’s Table ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our waitress, Alyssa, was phenomenal—attentive, warm, and genuinely made the experience feel special. She helped make my sister’s birthday brunch feel effortless and memorable without ever being overbearing. We ordered the Oxtail Breakfast and the Safari Espetada Benedict, and both were incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was impressive. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was outstanding, and the overall brunch experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend.

We tried the the tapas platter with rabbit, kangaroo, and camel, cape town chicken, Grandma's famous oxtails, and fried calamari. Everything was exceptional. From the staff to the food to the drinks to the ambuance. You just feel at home. Our server made me my first henny pineapple margarita. Delicious! & Chef Casey was kind enough to step away from his busy work to come greet us and check on us throughout our time. Everyone was so hospitable. & The food was full of flavor and love. You can tell Chef Casey is passionate about his craft. It shows. There is a mix of South African and South American cuisines among others. Just perfect! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Astor Table during our New Year’s Eve dinner. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Chef Casey is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the entire customer service team reflects the same level of professionalism and warmth. You can truly feel how much they care about their guests. Our server, Santiago, was outstanding—very friendly, attentive, and made sure our family felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, well cared for, and full of flavor. Everything shown in the photos is exactly what we enjoyed—divine from beginning to end. It was the perfect place to celebrate a special family moment, and the attention to detail truly stood out. We will definitely be coming back without a doubt. Highly recommended!

Today was our first experience at this establishment. From the moment we walked in until the time we walked out the staff was exceptional. Our waiter was very attentive as well as knowledgeable about the menu offering recommendations. The chef came to check and speak with us. The food was delicious and the mystery Mimosas were great. Thank you for making our experience a pleasurable and one to remember for my husband’s birthday. We will definitely be returning!

Loved the food and the portion sizes. We also got to meet the chef as well who was very friendly along with the lady that helped us out. Will definitely be back to try other food items.
