Really enjoy this park. The landscaping is beautiful and the play area is interesting. The crowd isn’t too easy going. The ages vary and there is quite a bit of space.
My safe place and the reason why I moved to Jersey city in 2019! So beautiful, well taken care of, lovely weekend farmer’s markets, and community. Only thing is some dog owners allow their dogs to go in the No Dog zone and plenty of irresponsible dog owners allow their dogs in the dog runs who shouldn’t be there. I have a dog myself but that doesn’t entitle me to curtail rules or courtesy to my fellow neighbors and park goers.

There were fireflies at this park. Lots of trees and shade with a snazzy children’s playground.
I love this park! It’s so beautiful and peaceful! It has a lovely dog park too. It is a well- kept, beautiful space with so many wonderful trees and plants.
It’s so pretty, there’s a small fountain in the middle where the birds are bathing. I’ve noticed some beautiful blue flowers on a bush that I’ve never seen before & also hydrangeas which are thriving. It’s well maintained & clean. We are filming a movie nearby & I wandered here to sit down for a moment & I am so glad I did :)
This park is truly magical through the seasons and a great place to hang out if you're searching for solitude. It feels safe both day and night as it's well lit. The farmer's market on Saturday morning has become a staple for us. The kids playground is great and the new dog park is a serious improvement over the muddy mess it was before (note: it's almost always packed with dogs). Kudos to the JC community for taking such great care of this beautiful park.
