The theater is beautiful! Huge and powerful in its presence! It was an honor for me to sing the National Anthem for the People of the State Address by Jumanne D Williams at the Performance Art Center! A historic moment for me! Parking isn't good. You have to pay for garage parking. The place was nice to bring students on a field trip.

The area this is located is awful to travel to, streets seemed never repaired since 1800s, full of potholes everywhere, dedicated bus lanes in already narrow streets the list goes on and on... I didn't feel safe walking the streets at all after parking the car that is if you can ever find a parking! It looks Jamaica is just neglected rather abandoned city now! I wonder why though 😂

They always have wonderful free events. I am new to the area and from Harlem, so living in Queens is very different for me. I was searching for something cultural and I find it always at JCAL. Thank you for keeping this going.

This is a great facility and kid-friendly. The building is well maintained. The bathroom is clean and the front desk person was very helpful.

This was my first time ever at Jamaica Performing Arts. I loved being in the building and the structure of it. It is accessible to those who have disabilities. It is easy to get to on public transportstion. The E train to the last stop which is Jamaica Center and buses, 85, 44, 34, 65, 56...these are just a few. It's right next to the Social Security Administration building and near shopping. A nice place to host community events.

Nice auditorium with comfortable seating and good acoustics. I went to a open house seminar on investing in the Jamaican Stock Exchange which has been recognized as the best performing stock market in the world by even the New York Stock Exchange. It was a very informative session and while I am the first one to admit gaining entry to trading on the market is not as easy as the USA market, the hurdles can be overcome easy enough. It is a market with no Capital Gains taxes and no double taxation on withdrawals.
