Cougar Mountain Zoo

A cute little zoo, the perfect weekend activity. It's definitely not as big as Point Defiance, but it's a perfect size for little ones. I love that the animal viewing spots are so close so you get a good look at the different animals. The animal variety is nice too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm excited to see their winter festival later this year.

Great little zoo! You can purchase apples in a cup at the ticket window to feed marked animals around the park. If you like alpacas, I would save some apples for them, they eat them right from your hand. They are a small zoo, but have nice exhibits and it's very clean. The restroom is located just inside the entrance and is always well kept, clean and stocked. There is a small gift shop with some cute items. They don't have food kiosks, just water and I believe ice cream that you can buy at the ticket window (which is also the gift shop, on the other side). So take a snack or eat before you go, if your hungry.

Took my toddler nephew there and he enjoyed it so much! The prices were super reasonable, and it was such a great experience. Being able to feed the reindeer, deer, and other animals made it really special and interactive. They also had adorable cubs and even a puma, which was amazing to see. Everything felt safe, fun, and family-friendly. Definitely a memorable outing—we’ll be coming back for sure!

Beautiful little zoo with lovely animals! However, the lion show was disappointing and not worth the extra cost. We were expecting an actual lion show, but instead the lion cubs were just sleeping while staff did a Q&A session about lions. It felt misleading and overhyped.

We visit frequently. The lion cubs are growing pretty fast! My TYO loves to feed the alpacas and reindeers. Its always memorable. And now they have a reticulated python and other reptiles too!! The crew is super friendly too!

What a wonderful visit for the reindeer festival here at the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah! Everyone was so friendly, the staff was dressed as elves and they couldn’t have been any nicer. All the animals are beautiful and it was such a fantastic experience of seeing so many different types of animals from birds to wolves, highly recommend and look forward to going back in the spring, summer timeframe to see how it is in a different type of temperature here in the Pacific Northwest. Definitely a wonderful zoo to visit and create memories.

Fantastic gem hidden in the hills. The lion cubs were a big hit with our 11 year old. The reindeer were amazing with the velvet on the antlers. It is amazing such a place exists in the middle of town!

We had a great time. Very educational. We felt very close with the animals. Staff are very informative and pleasant. We stopped off the gift shop and got some crystals to sift through. Very reasonable priced. We enjoyed our visit very much
