Gertens

We love coming to Gertens for our gardening and landscaping needs. They have a great selection of outdoor/indoor options and the staff are always readily available to assist. I appreciate the vibrant and bold flower colors when in bloom...incredibly beautiful! The grounds are well taken care of and the staff are always friendly. We recommend visiting Gertens if you are in the area. It is a pleasant experience.

Speechless. Absolutely speechless. What a wonderful place, a gardeners fairyland. I cannot say enough about this. Parking requires patience but it’s worth it The team that helps customers were wonderful. One individual in the store Bonni was so helpful and made shopping even more pleasurable. Her knowledge of bird feeder and seeds was obviously both professional and her personal knowledge as a bird lover. If you haven’t gone go. The bird feeder Bonni recommended has been fabulous and no squirrels getting all the food.

This was my first time at Gertens, and honestly, I was incredibly impressed. The place is huge with countless different types of plants; I felt like I could spend hours just browsing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in finding the right plants I needed, which made my shopping experience even better. However, I would still like to see more names or labels on some of the smaller plants (like the mini ones), because for people like me who aren't good at distinguishing plant species or want to try new ones, knowing exactly what you're buying can sometimes be difficult, or they might have it but I didn’t know:”). Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely come back and recommend this place.

Are they a bit on the pricier side? Yes. Do they guarantee all of their plants? Yes. Are the folks there super knowledgeable on the products? Triple yes. I have had great success with every single plant and product I have ever purchased there with the exception of a few air plants but that is very much user error. I will never stop going there as long as I have a yard to put things in.

Wow! What an incredible team at Gertens. I needed centerpieces for an event, and from the first phone call to walking in, creating them, and delivery—every step was seamless. Joann, Maria, Jen, Mike, and so many others (there were about eight people helping!) showed up with so much energy and kindness. They made the entire experience fun, and the centerpieces turned out perfect. Thank you for going above and beyond for me and our company!

Very cool place. Much bigger than I was expecting. They had the shrubs we needed for our project and one we needed to replace. Check this place out for your landscaping needs

The best holiday vibes in the twin cities! I came for a backyard ice rink liner. The rep walked me right to the liners. In and out in 5mins. I could have spent more time… cause the holiday vibes are off the chart, But I gotta a rink to freeze up👍🏽🤩👍🏽 Only problem is …my wife and daughters would never leave if I took them here😂

Very large variety of plants,shrubs ,trees etc... Have bags of dirt,mulch and fertilizer. Very friendly staff who are knowledgeable . More merchandise inside the stores to purchase. Perennials on one side. Annuals on the other. I have been going to Gertens since it was a small business and family home on site. Lived in the area back then, now traveling there from Wisconsin to get the best plants. Very reliable and affordable. Plants are large and easy to divide if on a budget. Love the place. Will always go back. Have recommended to people I know.
