Went here with my preeschooler for a field trip. Even though it was a little chaotic the staff handled it well! My daughter hasn't stopped talking about it and we plan to return this summer!

Opinioni dei visitatori
I love taking my little nephew here, we've had a great experience every time we go. They have some really great employees too. We really enjoyed the Bluey event they held.
I took my grandchildren to one of the 12 days of Santa events at early Works children’s museum. Ordering the tickets was easy check-in was also easy. There were so many activities and things for the kids to do. It was well orchestrated. Santa was fabulous and actually engaged with the kids. They really really enjoyed the scavenger hunt and then getting to get a little prize. I would recommend that next year the area to make their Christmas ornaments be a little larger, that area seemed a little chaotic. The gingerbread cookies were delicious and they had fun decorating those. It was well worth the cost of admission and I would certainly take them back next year.
We’ve been here twice now and love it. It’s clean, lots of activities, the kids could play for hours in some of the rooms. I highly recommend this location for anyone with toddlers, a great place to go on rainy days!
TL;DR: Good family option for a rainy day, especially for younger children, but it felt less engaging for older kids and we found the museum a little confusing to navigate. We visited EarlyWorks Museum in Huntsville with a group of seven, including two grade-school children and two under two. Overall, this is a good option for families, especially during inclement weather. As a mom of a seven-year-old, though, I felt the museum was more geared toward younger children who enjoy free play, pretend play, and gross motor activities. There were definitely things for the older kids to enjoy, especially the arts and crafts areas, but overall, it seemed to cater more naturally to a younger crowd. The space is on the smaller end of childrens's museums we've been to, but it has a lot of potential for fun family events, and from what the staff shared, it sounds like they do make good use of that. While we were there, we saw a Pokémon-themed event that looked cute, but we did not really understand what was happening or what we were supposed to do. We were simply told to grab a sheet of paper at the front desk and enjoy ourselves, so we felt a little lost. We also were not given a map and could not find one anywhere, which made it harder to figure out how to navigate the museum and make the most of our visit. The older children especially enjoyed the arts and crafts spaces. In honesty, some of that is the kind of activity you could recreate at home, but it was nice to have the materials already provided and not have to worry about the cleanup. One of the big positives is the location. The museum is in a beautiful part of downtown Huntsville, near plenty of restaurant options, and the area felt very safe. Overall, I think this is a solid stop for families with younger children, especially on a bad-weather day, but families with older elementary-age kids may find it a little less engaging than expected.
My grandkids all love this place. Great indoor place to spend a few hours letting your kids learn new things while they explore and play. They really liked the Tinker Lab and doing experiments led by the science instructor. There was a special limited appearance PAW Patrol: Adventure Play exhibit that enjoyed seeing, too.
Great discovery in Huntsville! My kids spent four fun filled hours enjoying the visiting (and super cool) Paw Patrol exhibit, the pioneer town with all kinds of buildings and a boat and props for pretend play. Learning to milk a cow do guided car repairs, tinker with guided breakout sessions or enjoying the dedicated toddler space with water table and clubhouse, farming and grocery shopping are options to explore during your visit.
My granddaughter and I visited Early Works last Friday. She was so excited but she was so disappointed when we began our visit. Alot of the activities were in disarray because of the school field trip students that were attending. I understand that schools enjoy the freedom of using the museum as well as individuals but there should be workers in each activity center on days like that in order to assure that all the activity items stay in the correct centers and in some type of order. It is unfair to the individuals who choose to visit on that day. Also, there were several activities that were not working. The cost was very reasonable, but I will never visit again due to the bad experience my granddaughter and I had while there. If you choose to go, it may be best if you go early in the morning in order to avoid crowds. I would also check ahead to make sure all the activities that are listed on the website are working .
