Third Planet Sci-Fi Superstore

May 2nd was my first time visiting, and I will absolutely be back. They have all the nerdy things you can think about, it’s genuinely heaven. As well as Parker one of the sweet workers and the cosplaying Ewok at checkout she was very helpful as well! Looking forward to May 4th >_<

Yo the third planet if you are a comic fanatic and also like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon and marvels you've got to check this place out it is amazing I mean AMAZING to the T!!!!!

I love going here. Me and my husband live in a town outside Houston with zero comic options and we love to make a day of visiting third planet. They have old and new! Also there is an amazing collection of Disney comics available that I’ve not seen at other comic stores. Parking is tough though.

Visited today. Awesome shop. First shop I’ve encountered in the wild using middle boarding. I think they converted me in the idea. Excellent selection. Stephanie helped me out and was super knowledgeable and funny.

Really cool comic book, board game, and nerd collectibles shop! Spoke to a gentleman behind the counter that seemed welcoming in a “the butler” from rocky horror kind of way. He told me the place has been there for 50 years! That’s pretty awesome. I hope to make my way back someday to buy the Signed Mark Hamill X-Wing.

I have been a collector for quite some time. I was initially drawn by the reviews, which are very good. I was dismayed when I went in and the current selection quality was so generic, none of them were collector quality. Older comics were very common and had a common sticker price of at least $5 no matter the quality or relative market value. Comic keys were locked up in a glass case that appeared to have less than 50 keys that you would have to dig through with someone assisting you pull stuff out to find anything you could possibly want, need, or were look ing for. One of the staff, rather than assisting me, just said everything in there was $40 to $100, which immediately told me that they were likely over valued and over priced. Very few slabbed comics. I was surprised to see how many people were in the shop, which was good. The staff was “ok” I was obviously there looking for specific issues but was never asked what I was looking for or how anyone could help. It’s sad because I love the decor and theming of the place but the content just isn’t there for mid to serious collectors.

The best and one of the only places to see great comic and toys for sale in Houston. I highly recommend and some rare gems in this place. Love this store. Had a great sale today and found a real unique figure. The murals outside are also amazing.

It has a great selection of Comics and Action Figures and various other items Anime/Sci-Fi related but the pricing on the comics is a little much
