If I could give this place 100 stars, I would!!! I don’t think I’ve ever been as impressed by a restaurant as I was with Steak 48. Being in the service industry myself, I pay attention to every little detail, and the service here absolutely blew me away. From the moment you walk in, you’re taken care of and treated like you’ve been coming there for years. I had a super minor issue about not wanting to sit upstairs, and even though they said there weren’t any available tables downstairs, they still made it work and handled it with such ease. The food was obviously just as amazing. I had the most delicious Filet Mignon, cooked to perfection (medium-rare, duh). It was so tender and flavorful—I just couldn’t get enough lol. The crème brûlée corn, fire-roasted cauliflower, au gratin potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, dinner rolls, and my martini were ALL SO PERFECT 😭. Not to mention, they give you a lavender-scented warm towel at the end of dinner and a homemade chocolate chip cookie 🥹. I’ve already told several friends that they HAVE to come here, and they were super impressed as well 🥰. Once you dine at Steak 48, you’ll find yourself comparing every other steakhouse to it. Thank you to my server, Mark, and everyone else there. I can’t wait to be back!

We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary at Steak 48 and everything was amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service made our night feel extra special. Every detail helped create such a memorable experience for us. Definitely one of the best steakhouse experiences we’ve had in Houston and we can’t wait to come back for another special occasion!

We had our first experience at Steak 48 celebrating a late Valentine’s dinner and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was top tier. Tyler, our waiter, treated us like VIPs the entire night. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and made sure we were comfortable with every selection since it was our first time. That level of service alone would bring us back. We shared several dishes and everything was outstanding. The superfood salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, the thick-cut bacon was rich and flavorful, and both steaks — the NY strip and the filet mignon — were cooked to absolute perfection. The Parmesan garlic fries and the crème brûlée corn were unforgettable sides and easily some of the best we’ve had at any steakhouse. Ernest, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect, which really showed the level of care and professionalism this place operates with. And we have to mention the dessert — the vanilla caramel cake is an absolute MUST. The perfect way to end an incredible meal. Amazing food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had since our move to Houston. We’re already looking forward to coming back. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The level of service that we received was top-notch! Our waitress was very well spoken, very eloquent and described lots of things on the menu in great detail. She was very knowledgeable. Would’ve liked to have seen more French wines on the menu everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The only critique I can provide is that the steak was not very well seasoned although it was very tender & juicy.

Our server, Johnson, truly made the evening unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he took the time to learn each of our names and made our table feel incredibly special and cared for. Although there were only five of us celebrating my daughter’s high school graduation, we represented three generations gathered around one table — and Johnson made us feel like we were the only family in the restaurant. His service, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none. The food was amazing, as always. Every steak was cooked to perfection, and the consistency Steak 48 delivers each visit is truly impressive. The praline sweet potatoes were absolutely delicious and quickly became one of my favorite dishes of the night. My daughter was ecstatic the moment she saw the graduation confetti beautifully spread across our table. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration feel even more special. And the true chef’s kiss of the evening? The warm eucalyptus-scented hand towels offered both at the beginning and end of our meal. Such a luxurious and memorable detail. I would highly recommend Steak 48 for special occasions or entertaining guests. We were able to do both — celebrate our daughter’s graduation while hosting her grandfather, who flew in from Georgia for the occasion. It was such a meaningful night for our family, and Johnson made it even more memorable.

I almost got so full off the bread! Made fresh and with such a nice pillowy texture, the butter really hits it off. It was my first time dining here and had such a nice experience. The deviled eggs with the fried shrimp was my favorite dish! My husband said the steak 48 signature ribeye was one of the best he’s had.

Husband and I came here for date night and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, service and waiter were awesome, ambiance was perfect. 10 out of 10 from start to finish. I highly recommend this place!

Steak 48 is an excellent choice for a special night out. The steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Side dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented.The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable, ideal for date nights or celebrations. Service was professional, attentive, and polished.Pricey, but absolutely worth it for the quality and overall experience. I’d definitely return.
